Myrtos is a charming and authentic village on the southern coast of Crete. The apartment is exceptional—spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped for a longer stay. It offers free Wi-Fi, and every room has its own air-conditioning unit, which makes the stay very pleasant even on hot days. The location is outstanding, just about fifty meters from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and bakeries within walking distance. The hosts are especially kind and always ready to help with anything that comes up. At the end of our stay, we received lovely gifts as a souvenir of Myrtos and our time at Fota’s Home.

Location and view are splendid! Note: stairs… We had a small Double-room which was precisely as described. So the bathroom is small but sufficient. Though we did not meet the friendly owners, communication for check-in and check-out was super-friendly and helpful. We recommend Myrtos and this accommodation !

Myrtos is a busy little town with parking just on the outskirts. Interesting streets with lots of shops and cafes, so good to walk around and explore. Beach front cafes to sit and watch the world go by. Choice of many tavernas for food and drink.

Mirtos is a small, very friendly village.

Mirtos is a small, very friendly village. Great tavernas and bars. Several local shops for necessities. Lovely beach but sea can be a bit rough at times. A trip up to the villages in the mountains is a must. Have travelled around crete for 30 years but the past 7, been coming here. Mirtos has stolen our hearts !!

I liked everything and I wish I could stay more. Myrtos is a small town in South Crete. It is a charming place with good, helpful and generous people. The food is delicious, the sun shines and the sky is blue.

An excellent little village which combines sea and mountain...

An excellent little village which combines sea and mountain activities. Relaxing place with a huge beach with trees. But please discover Myrtos on foot! So many paths start in this village, some of them are easy, around nearby hills; some you need to carry extra water to visit Mithi village or Sarakinas gorge. There is the Minoan settlement of Pyrgos and much more. We will surely come back to the beautiful village of Myrtos full of magnolia trees.

I liked Mirtos when it wasn't so full.

I liked Mirtos when it wasn't so full. I also liked the fact that they try to discourage card entering the village so it's safer for padestrians. Unfortunately, it has become very popular and it's too small to accommodate the amount of visitors that it gets.

Mirtos is a small village, that we feel, is unspoiled by tourism. There are several tavernas, all serving delicious food. A few small bars have greek music nights. If you are looking for night clubs or kareoke nights, this is not the village for you. But, it is our favourite !!!

If I could rate a property above a 10, this would be the place. Maria was an amazing host and there to greet and even went out of her way to find some hard to get Olives we love. The property itself is remarkably clean and fresh and included some nibbles, juice and homemade raki all of which were delicious. If we ever make it back to Myrtos, we're staying here as Maria feels like an friend we'd like to see again and again!

The Pelagos 1 appartment has a fabulouse beach front location and a supermarket, bakery, cafes and bars are in the immediate proximity. The apparment was spotlessly clean, with regular fresh supply of bed linnen and towels. The beach at Myrtos has beautiful clear water and is a safe swiming location. The permanent residents of the village are kind and helpful, especially our host Sylvie.

Myrtos was a pleasant surprise--a much more lively town than we expected. Great places to visit by foot around the apartment and a very nice waterfront. Town has good and free parking too. Loved the little sweets left for us as a welcome gift on the kitchen table.

We spent our 5th vacation in this hotel, where we always can find a familiar atmoaphere, cleaning is on daily basia, if you want to have a breakfast, you can taste the great kitchen, the location ia great.
