As soon as I booked Androkini contacted us with all necessary information. All was perfect and lovely. The location is exceptional and we can park our car just in front of the house. Since we stayed 3 days we didn t use all utilities and ate at restaurants, but if you need to cook all is available in the house. Upstairs we have a bedroom with a nice balcony wich we enjoyed at night. All was perfect. Thank you.

We visit Crete very often. Our favorite region is the north-eastern part of Crete. We decided to stay at Manolis House and it was the best decision. The house is beautiful. We spent almost 4 weeks there. It was recently renovated and done beautifully. It has two very comfortable bedrooms with large beds. One with a large window and an amazing view of the sea, huge cliffs and olive groves. Very well-equipped kitchen. The biggest advantage is the view. It's breathtaking. You can spend the whole day on the large terrace and you won't get bored of the view. The house is located in a very quiet area. You can sleep with the windows open. A private parking space is a great convenience. The owners are very nice and helpful. Manolis House is the best place in Crete we have stayed so far.

Our stay at villa Penelope was an excellent choice. The host was really hospitable. The house was clean and cozy and the view to the mountain was great. It is located in a quiet neighborhood in a traditional, picturesque village. It is really easy to find free parking space near the house. I will definitely choose villa Penelope for my next visit to the island.

The local restaurants are excellent.

The local restaurants are excellent. We particularly liked the 'Natural foods' one at the turn off for Mocholos, about 4 km from the village. This is a classic family run taverna. However, those in the village were almost as good. In October the place is still lively and pleasant.

Very small village, quite and friendly with 7 taverna to suit all tastes and budgets 3were exceptional.a few gift shops and a well stocked mini market .the hill to our villa is quite steep in places but we were able to get up and down at least twice a day even as a 73 year old and after wine and raki . Sitia and beyond were great to explore and the town beach was good when not too windy .we used thlos beach a short drive away too. Everywhere accepted visa cards which was a good job as the nearest ATM is on sitia. All in all a fab place if you want small and quiet.

Mochlos is quiet but not for beach lovers or children, 4 or 5 taverna's where 80%of the tables appear to be reserved every night and unlike most of the rest of Crete no raki from the hosts at the end of the meal.A few bars and shops and that is it.

Mochlos a magical village right on the beach. Very cosy and convenient with shops and tavernas serving delicious fresh local food. It is bit remote, but it's a good thing in our eyes. Views to die for everywhere. Lots of ancient history on every corner. Mochlos is a good place to make your base camp. You can rent a car and travel around exploring nearby beautiful scenery, beaches, tavernas and history of Crete. We miss it already.

Small town with a lot of tourists mainly from France. In the town there is a mini-market and several concept shops. You can feel as being to far from urban noise, like a time travel back years ago (in positive sense).

Mochlos is a charming port with the ancient island of Mochlos very near. If you go to George's taverna he will take you there on his little boat for a small fee. Well worth the trip. There are a few restaurants, bars and boutique shops around a very small location.

We had a wonderful stay at Pixida in the beautiful village of Mochlos! Our host, George, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. The room was spotless, fully equipped, with a spacious bathroom and living room, fully equipped kitchen and a large veranda. The pool was cleaned every two days! This is the perfect room for relaxing. The village itself is charming—ideal for peaceful walks and unwinding. Thank you so much for everything!

Great location a short stroll from tavernas and the beach. Excellent communication with very friendly and informative owners, both before and during our time in Mochlos. Giorgios was very helpful, responding very quickly to any requests we had during our stay, making good suggestions about places to visit and enthusing us with his evident love of Mochlos and the surrounding area.

Really nice house on two floors, with a lovely small private pool. Amazing views over Mochlos and surrounding areas. Garden has both shaded and sunny seating areas, especially for morning sun. Very clean, with extra housekeeping a few times during our stay. Extremely helpful owner who gave us some useful and fascinating information on the location.
