During the summer it's a little cooler up there and it is very close to a lot of the local Vileges if you wish to go and see them you can drive or as we did with a taxi. It's about the same as hiring a car. So it's up to you . There a Restorants in Nymtheio if you need to go out for lunch or dinner and view is fantastic.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

I enjoyed the village itself - very small and picturesque.
I enjoyed the village itself - very small and picturesque. There are some nice walks around the village hills if the weather is good. The shops and cafes are often closed, but Enterne (our hotel) had a wonderful cafe bar and this was open at all times. One of the big attractions in the area is the Arktouros bear sanctuary; this is a wonderful Greek charity that has set up the sanctuary for rescued bears, and further down the mountain for wolves and lynxes. The village is a short driving distance to several wineries in the area which I would highly recommend including Alfa Estate and Karanikas.Guest review bySofiaFrance - 10.0

Nymfaio is a magnificent village, with great nature surrounding it. We were amazed by the trails that we walked, the architecture of the village and the nature colours - we visited in autumn. It is really worthy taking the time to learn the history of the village as well and don't forget to visit the Arcturos environmental center and the Nikios School information center.Guest review bySofiaGreece

The hotel a beautiful surprise. The best breakfast you can imagine so rich and carefully served in an amazing balcony overlooking the village and the mountains! There are steep steps to go down to the entrance of the hotel, and you have to bring your own suitcases, but you are by the main square and it is in a great location.
