This was such a beautiful spot! We had an amazing view from our balcony overlooking the local spots and the tranquil sea. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean bright and comfortable. The breakfast was generous and with great variety and service right beside the sea. The location was wonderful with the ancient sights including the amphitheatres and the Epidouros ancient healing sanctuary etc We loved it!

Excellent spot with amazing views. The rooms were comfortable and everything clean. It was a quiet location with an easy drive to the town. The photos do not do this place justice, they are making improvements and keeping the place well maintained. We loved our time here.

The apartments are easy to find via Google maps, and there is plenty of on-street parking nearby. The owner, Christos, was in touch beforehand with information, and the keys are collected from a lock-box. We rented the one-bedroom apartment which was a generous size, with a hallway, a living room and bedroom sharing a balcony, a kitchen and a bathroom. The living room has a large corner sofa(-bed), a coffee table, a TV on another table, a coat rack, a standing lamp and A/C. The bedroom has built-in wardrobes, a large double bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a full-length mirror and A/C. The mattress was comfortable and there were four pillows and plenty of blankets. The kitchen is well-equipped with crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans, a full-sized fridge, a counter-top oven with two hotplates, an electric kettle, a table and four chairs. There were also dish detergent and sponge, a dish towel, sachets of tea, coffee, sugar, mini-jams, friagnies, salt and pepper. The bathroom has a large shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water (electric), there is a shelf unit, and one mini bar of soap, one mini shampoo and one mini shower gel were provided. The balcony is a good size, with a table and two chairs, and a clothes drying rack. The floors throughout are marble, with rugs. The wifi worked well.

Lovely little village. Friendly people, Very nice marina. Great Ice cream parlour, we had a different flavour every evening. The bakery sells wonderful cakes, we tried lots of them. Walked to the beach with the sunken ruins and ate at Athina then bought olives, olive oil and wild oregano from their farm shop - recommended. Had a great time.

I was surprised that despite its fame, it is a small port...

I was surprised that despite its fame, it is a small port town. I don't mean this as a criticism, quite the contrary: except for June and July, when, as I heard from Dimitra, there is great demand for accommodation due to the amphitheater performances, you can spend a few days or even a week here in complete tranquility. I am definitely considering returning, if not to Epidaurus itself, then certainly to a nearby secluded cove, where I can rent a small house for a month in the spring or fall.

Epidavros was well worth a visit.

Epidavros was well worth a visit. We only went there because that's where our accommodation was but we were so glad once we arrived. There's plenty to do in the area, not only locally with the Ancient Theatre, lovely harbour and restaurants, kayaking tour including the sunken city, but also a little bit further afield with visits to Nafpoli and Ermioni.

Wonderful quiet, and quaint town with a beautiful view of the bay. The locals were extremely friendly and accommodating, including the local cat population! The Amphitheatre in the ancient town about 15 minutes drive away is insane.

As we drove to our accommodation at Seaside Epidavros we...

As we drove to our accommodation at Seaside Epidavros we were greeted instantly with the most amazing smells of orange trees blossoming. I wanted to stay all night in my car to be surrounded by that smell… It was pure Heaven!! Upon arrival, We were greatful for the ease of parking and promptness of our host getting us into our room, and were thrilled with the beauty of the the property (especially the stone walkways and gorgeous vistas all around). Although our room wasnt anything super new or fancy, it was clean, warm, safe and secure and provided everything we needed for our stay! A sunrise walk around the neighborhood felt safe and was filled with stunning scenery. Some streets in the neighborhood are quite steep, so it was easy to work up a sweat returning back up the hills to our room…which made a swim in the nice cold pool overlooking the sea, especially delightful and refreshing! We were also surprised as a family of 5 by how perfectly filling the provided breakfast items were! The fresh oranges (that looked to be straight from a tree nearby) were incredibly sweet, juicy and delicious, and the bread for toast and butter/jams were perfect!! We wished we had booked more nights here! both for the accomodations and to do more in the area. Within 5 min driving distance of the ancient theatre of epidavros and the sunken city (+ 16 min from the healing center of Asclepious and the bigger theatre at asclepious in epidavros…which we origionally thought was the theatre that is 5 min away, but werent at all bothered to drive a bit further to get to), as well as 30-45 min from stops in Nafplion’s Palamidi fortress and the ancient ruins of Mycenae! Hated to leave! Need to come back soon!

The area offers swimming on the Sardonic Sea, orange and lemon groves, and pomegranate groves. There is hiking and of course, the ancient theater and the surrounding grounds. The theater is a UNESCO site. It's a must-see. Go during the festival and see a play as we did.

The small little town, Epidarus is perfect from hustle/bustle and busy Santorini and Athens a week ago. Quite and peaceful, ocean facing little town and our rooms are facing the sea. Breakfast is superb, beyond our expectation. The orange juice is "original", freshly squeezed. Highly recommended for stay to visit Epidarus Ancient Theater and on the way to south. The seafood place in front of the water promenade was really great.

Great location close to Ancient Epidavros and within easy reach of many historic sites. Lovely swimming pool and easy access to the beach below the house. Good grill, lovely view and a delightful shaded eating area outside. We loved the unique architectural design of the house and its general layout with its large and comfortable living area.

Lovely hotel in a small village, located just opposite the sea, with amazing view . . . Excellent Greek traditional breakfast. Highly recommended if you are in the area. Ask for an apartment in the upper floors, the view of the small harbor is magnificent !

the location is fantastic (all you want to visit is close-by); the staff is very helpful and has great suggestions for visits, trips and places to eat and drink. the view from the rooms over the sea is just superb! excellent location for a holiday in Greece!
