Friendly owners, very welcoming. The view from the suites of the sea is amazing. A secluded beach is a small walk from the hotel. On our last day we had an amazing home cooked fish dinner with octopus, kalamari and fish. All fresh and deliciously cooked.

What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality of the host, Panayiotis. Always attentive and eager to accommodate, he goes above and beyond. A highlight of the stay was his complimentary boat tour around the crystal-clear bay of Porto Kayio, ending at a secluded beach an unforgettable touch that made the experience magical and unforgettable. And just when you think it can’t get better, you make your way to the 3rd floor guest balcony where breakfast is served. By Greek standards the included breakfast is first class. Fresh coffee, eggs, juice, jams, ham and cheese toasties, creamy Greek yogurt with honey, to fuel the perfect start to your day. Porto Kayio is an undiscovered gem, and Porto Kale Guesthouse is the heart of its charm. A must-stay for anyone seeking a genuine and serene escape.

So tiny and still everything there, so well equipped. And so lovely. And did I mention tiny? :-D It´s all ruins around the tower, so very quiet at nights, Vathia is a really cool place to explore. During the day, there´s tourists passing along the path. I enjoyed sitting on the stairs/stones before the (tiny!) door and chatting to some people. The lovely owner also left us the key to her terrace around the corner for breakfast and such. And she let us stay a little longer for the nasty rain on our departure day. Thank you. The tavern in town was open and nice, with great views. Be prepared for a bit of an adventure walk to the place. It´s steep and partly plain rocks. My first thought was "are they nuts?!?, this can´t be the right way?!?". It is not really suitable for suitcases, bring a backpack, and altogether don´t bring much stuff (tiny, remember?) When we checked out with rain, we skipped the slippery "rock stairs" and walked the circle through the ruins the other way around, it´s a bit longer, but possible, you can´t really go wrong.

The room was very comfortable with great view in front of the sea . The decoration was impressive and cosy , while the personnel was very helpful and kind and the sea food at the restaurant was great . I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoy full stay just 1 minute walk from a very beautiful beach for swimming

The location was perfect, our balcony was just a short distance from the sea and the view was marvellous. Our room was just perfect and so was the bathroom, modernised and everything worked well. Nice amenities of Korres. The Cocomat bedlinnen was so soft and we had different types of pillows to choose from. The manager Angela was very welcoming and prepared wonderful breakfasts! We hope to be back soon again!

Great location for visiting the southern tip of the Mani.

Great location for visiting the southern tip of the Mani. For active people while like to swim and hike, there’s plenty to see and do. At the beginning of the walk to the lighthouse there are some beautiful little bays for snorkeling. The isolated location gives this area a very back of beyond, peaceful feeling. It’s well worth the drive to get there.
