The location is truly exceptional, offering breathtaking views that made every moment special. The hospitality and attentiveness of the host were outstanding – anything we needed was handled immediately and with great care. We vacationed with two married couples. It's a wonderful, quiet town. Three tavernas on the seashore offer delicious, fresh food. There's also a small shop. The villa is fully equipped with everything you need. There's a spacious, cozy terrace and a spacious kitchen-studio on the second floor. The hostess is very welcoming and sweet. She explained everything in detail and left us a gift of Greek treats. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. However, be aware that the only road leading to the town can be challenging for an inexperienced driver in the mountains. Thanks to the island of Crete for the sun, warm sea, and tranquility.

This was easily one of the most hospitable stays we have ever had. The owners were so kind and treated us like family. Nik made us breakfast in the morning, we weren't given a menu, the food just showed up and it was delicious!! Everyone in this area was so nice and wonderful to my 16-month-old son. The room we stayed in was clean and functional. The beach was awesome, we were the only people there. Some rocks but 99% sand. When we were heading out he gave me his card and told me to make sure I emailed him if we had any problems or questions about the island. I cannot express how great the customer service was.

Clean room, tranquility, very tasty breakfast, very helpful and friendly personal. If you are looking a place to relax, away from crowds and very popular places and be close both to the sea and the mountains, this is a very good choice. We actually extended our stay at the hotel because we were having such a good time here.

We have already been here two times. The view and the Scenery beautiful and peaceful. The accommodation is next to the sea. Always evening we was sleeping with the sound of sea. The staff were very kindly. I offer it for all. We had a good vacation here.

This is NOT a destination for tourists - even local Cretans...

This is NOT a destination for tourists - even local Cretans do not go here It is a totally isolated small hot rock black beach (200 meters) with 2 small cafe/restaurants. You will need a car to get around since no taxis/buses etc in the area. Getting there by car is a treacherous single lane road with hairpin turns up and down mountains. From Heraklion - expect to take 90 minutes - IF driver knows the way! The NAME of the apt used to be Seaside Beach Apt” - and no one could tell us new name! Our taxi driver spent nearly 45 minutes looking for the place! Expect to speak Greek to get ANYTHING done.

A small, picturesque village; you feel completely...

A small, picturesque village; you feel completely transported to another world. Ideal for immersing yourself in nature, I highly recommend it! It takes a little time to get used to the driving; the bends are a bit tight at times, so be careful in the mountains.

The village of Tři Kostelíky is not a place for everyone.

The village of Tři Kostelíky is not a place for everyone. Those looking for luxury and everything perfect should not come here. Those looking for peace, real unadorned Greece, beautiful unorganized beaches, breathtaking rocky scenery, vultures overhead and lovely rivers will be satisfied.

The village is actually called Tris Ekklisies and is small...

The village is actually called Tris Ekklisies and is small and peaceful, perfect for a beach holiday. It's mainly frequented by Greek families. There's no ATM in the village, but you can pay by card almost everywhere. You need a car to get there (a taxi from Heraklion costs about €70, or slightly cheaper if your hosts arrange transport).
