Alonnisos and Patitiri is one of our favorite islands in Greece. This is the fourth time we have visited the island and there will be another visit next year. Here, life still goes smoothly, little stress, not overcrowded with tourists. And then they have the "best" Greek restaurant "OSTRIA" we have experienced in our 29 years of holidays in Greece. The island is great and would definitely recommend visiting it. The food was pretty expensive and we didn't have many great options either, a lot of places are tourist traps with bad quality of food and expensive prices. I would recommend Astrofegkia, Fanari and Dendrolimano because they have very nice food, but they were pretty expensive too. You should definitely visit Milia Beach (not Chrisi Milia), it is beautiful! We have been placed in one of the cleanest rooms we have seen so far while traveling, a big thank you to the cleaning team. The views from the balcony over the roofs of Pattitiri to the harbour are great, one feels you could touch the ships. A bit dated in places, but in a way that adds to it’s vibe. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with a lovely little balcony with a great view of the sea. Great location not far from a few essential shops and a great morning coffee from the local pastry shop. The real winner for us though was the quite darling lady at reception.
