It's situated in a nice quiet place, on the road to the Kontogialos sandy beach (which is in walking distance from the residence). It has a very beautiful sea view from the upper floor. The residence has its own parking - I recommend renting a car. Quite close to the Glyfada beach and the Kaiser's Throne observatory. A very handy supermarket is just nearby, they sell an extraordinary local wine.

We spent four unforgettable nights at Angsana Corfu during Easter — a truly special time on the island, filled with spirituality and celebration. The hotel exceeded all our expectations: a stunning room, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional staff — everything was absolutely top-notch. The location is a true gem. The view of the Ionian Sea is breathtaking, and watching planes take off and land nearby adds a cinematic charm. The surrounding nature, architecture, and interior spaces are all harmoniously designed and aesthetically pleasing. A special mention goes to the wellness facilities: a wide range of spa treatments, an impressive yoga schedule, and a fully equipped, modern gym — everything was thoughtfully curated to offer guests total relaxation and care. Each morning felt like a meditation. The breakfasts were generous and delicious, with careful attention to detail. And the Easter activities organized by the hotel allowed us to truly feel the festive spirit and connect with the local culture of Corfu. I would like to specifically thank the hotel staff for their amazing work. Every morning, we were greeted with a smile and care, and all our requests were handled quickly and with kindness. The team truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Special thanks for the personal approach and attention to detail! This truly makes the stay unforgettable.     The location has everything you could think about and the...

    The location has everything you could think about and the view from it is amazing, you can have an incredible sunset from this nice, very clean and cozy house. Also, the owner is a very helpful person, he helped us contact the rent car agency so we could take the car from the airport, he waited for us at a late hour and offered us all support we need.

    Rolling Stone Apartment in Corfu is a gem!

    Rolling Stone Apartment in Corfu is a gem! The location is fantastic, putting you close to everything you need. The highlight is definitely the terrace with its stunning views—perfect for relaxing and soaking in the beauty of Corfu. Hosts Ira and Thasos are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

    We decided to base ourselves in Pelekas because of its...

    We decided to base ourselves in Pelekas because of its vicinity both to Corfu town and to the beaches. However, the way back from the beach to the village is very steep and not convenient for children and older people. The beautiful village could be a lot nicer if traffic would be banned, since the streets are very narrow.

    Our room had clearly not been renovated for the past 30+...

    Our room had clearly not been renovated for the past 30+years, with broken tiles everywhere badly patched with glue/silicon (arguably a health and safety hazard), a bed with more broken springs than those still working (we slept only a few hours, if any), a shower that at peak usage time would get lukewarm at best (we called reception and they sent through a handy man at around 7pm who said it is usual for them to run out of hot water when everyone at the hotel is having showers, but it would usually come back in the next 2/3 hours). Also, our room was next to the large outdoor aircon units which were incredibly loud and they were blowing air upwards/towards our balcony (major covid risk), hence why we couldn't even make use of the one positive aspect of the hotel. Also, there was a general smell of sewage throughout the facility, including our bathroom, which became unbearable at "peak shower times". The all-inclusive package (there was no à la carte restaurant, shut due to Covid, even though the description on Booking is clearly talking of a second à la carte restaurant) was absolutely below expectations. We stayed at other 5-star hotels in Corfu a couple of nights before and after (we only experienced one dinner and one breakfast as we ran away ASAP) and the food at both was just miles ahead. To provide one simple example, the cut-up fruit provided was all canned (in syrup) fruit, as opposed to freshly cut fruit (provided at both other 5-star hotels). Also, for drinks there was only water, fizzy drinks, house wine and house beer all from a self-service tap - for anything else from a menu, you would need to prepay the tab on your room, which could only be done at reception (which is something I had never heard of/experienced before for anything above 3-stars!), which was a 10 min walk up from the restaurant.

    Everything was perfect. Location was excelent, just few minutes walk from the beach, and the view from the balcony was amazing. Rooms were spacious and clean. The apartment was pretty modern, the bathroom looked newly renovated. The apartment and the neighborhood was absolutely peacful and quiet at night. Renting a car is nessesary otherwise you are not so mobil, and Pelekas is pretty hilly. The oldtown area is on the hill and the new area is on the beach and around. Our host was helpful and nice. We would definitely come back.

    Such a great vacation we have spent thanks to Yaliskari personnel, food, fresh air, amazing view, clean and cool water. Do not miss the opportunity to go for a boat trip (visiting a dosen of various places mostly breathtaking beaches) from Kontogialos beach near Monastery Hotel for only 50 EUR. You may also visit Kaiser William II Observatory, the highest mountain in the area. In case you need food and water supply, Pelekas Supermarket is near Kontogialos beach as well.

    The hotel is conveniently located near all the incredible beaches and just a 15–20 minute drive from Corfu Old Town. We felt relaxed throughout our stay — it truly felt like a retreat. From starting the day with a table-service breakfast to sunbathing in a peaceful, calming atmosphere by the pool, every moment was restful. The staff were also lovely and really helped to make the experience even better.
