David and Marieke are lovely hosts and they did a great job with the place. It feels like you went back in time, away from this modern world, loud and crowded. Peacefull place indoors and outdoors. The road up there is a little bumpy and quite long, but the destination is well worth it. We arrived late in the evening and after getting worried that we missed the road or we'd end in some abandoned place, we were surprised to find a welcoming cozy place like The Merchants' House. Entering the room was a total exciment for my 12 years old son to discover every corner if it and who bragged about being the one to say Yes to this accomodation, even if, on the map, it seemed far away from the beaches. Next morning, we were amazed with the "royal breakfast" and "royal service".🥰 We switched 3 accommodations during our 8 days vacation in Corfu, but The Merchants' was the best, the cleanest, the friendliest.🥰 Thank you, Marieke and David for making our stay sooooo so relaxing and exquisite.👑🎩

Incredible property at the top of a small but steep hill overlooking two of the bays in Kassiopi on the island of Corfu. Frangrances of Rosemary and Jasmine flowers wafting about the property morning, noon and night. Sunrise and sunsets to beat the band - just glorious. A large and comfortable resort. Several accommodation buildings most only 2 levels with master bedroom and lounge, kitchenette and bathroom. Your own outside deck covered and sheltered for privacy. The swimming pools were fabulous, a large pool in a large grass lawn surrounded by palms and flowering trees. Then the best was the near Olympic size pool in a building with a close able roof. Large deck chairs and Grecian art work on the walls with large doors leading out to a long patio. Also available massage and wellness centre and a fitness gym. Also a tennis court. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Nothing was any trouble. A separate breakfast and dining room open to the marvellous beach. Would recommend 100%. Located in Acharavi, North Corfu.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The service was excellent – the staff was always friendly, attentive, and helpful. The hotel has a large, well-maintained territory, so even when it’s fully booked, you never feel crowded. There was always enough space for everyone on the beach, by the pool, and in the restaurants. One of the highlights was the à la carte restaurants – the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend choosing the option that includes à la carte dining, as it’s well worth it. Overall, a perfect vacation spot with great service, spacious grounds, and amazing food. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Exceptional hotel, very clean and professional staff. Nice breakfast, daily cleaning service to the bedroom. Beautiful pool which always felt quiet and peaceful. About a 500metre walk to centre of acharavi and 1km from beach, very short walks and plenty to look at along the way. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff of the holel is amazing. The communication was so smooth and relax. They invest a lot of attention to the detail. The receptionist Maria is great always smiling and helpful. The waiters are polite and quick. The restaurant and the all inclusive food were with very good quality and the a la carte dinner was also great. The pool is clean and big and close to the sandy beach so you can enjoy in the same time the pool and the sea. The snack bar at the pool offered coffee and cocktails and fruits all day and the staff was nice there. The SPA uses very good quality products. The hotel is situted next to RODA (20 min walking) but also is provided every hour shuttle to Roda.
