Filio the host was very friendly and accommodating for my family needs especially when travelling with a baby and toddler. She provided a clean crib and highchair in our room. The room always had hot water. Steps away from the beach. We loved it and the kids loved it. Highly recommended, must stay when in Plomari! Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Very clean, well decorated house! The owner was super helpful. She helped us with all our questions promptly. Everything in the house was very new and clean. The house was well located. Only a couple of walking minutes from the town centre. The house had everything you need; hair dryer, towels, coffee machine etc. We would for sure stay here again.

The apartment is very spacious and with modern furnitures and smart fixtures. The balcony is beutiful with a breathtaking view of the sea. The host met us and helped transporting our luggage to the apartment which is situated on a hill side and is difficult to approach by car. They had also provided plenty of water and the kitchen was well equipped with the basic essentials available. All together we had a very positive experience and will for sure return.

Worth seeing for some nice beaches or coves around, and...

Worth seeing for some nice beaches or coves around, and going to some nice restaurants. It doesn't seem to retain the old character the way it probably used to, and yet it doesn't offer the vibrancy and / or cultural dynamism that are typical of many other centres on the island (Mytilene, Sigri, Molyvos). It is a bit of a sleepy place, stripped of the working class identity it must have had, and currently seemingly attempting to attract a new wave of tourism that is in a more extractive and shallow mode. It has a lot of potential though, and hope it finds itself and its unique quality again.

This is a wonderful hotel located right outside the center...

This is a wonderful hotel located right outside the center of Plomari. It's about a 10 min walk to the main area. Hermes, the host, is incredibly friendly and looking out for each guest's needs. The views from each room are incredible and the rooms are spacious, clean, and lovely. There is a small beach right next to the hotel that is semi-private. I was incredibly pleased with Frini Studios and recommend it highly.

Plomari is picturesque and retains the traditional...

Plomari is picturesque and retains the traditional architecture of the Aegean. It suits especially tourists that prefer less noisy holidays, nice food at seafront taverns and endless amphitheatric views to the sea. It can also serve as a base for various excursions to seaside and mountain villages and spots.

It's a beautiful city worth seeing at least once. Subsequent visits will depend on your priorities and preferences. It's a city with a unique character and a historical fabric. There are a variety of swimming spots, and the water quality is excellent everywhere.

Plomari is a small but charming town.

Plomari is a small but charming town. You can reach it by car or rental car. It's not well-suited to public transportation. Because the roads are narrow and winding, driving should be cautious and slow.

We found it a bleak village with many dirty spots.

We found it a bleak village with many dirty spots. The surrounding area isn't exactly ideal for car trips. Lots of olive trees but little variety. We ate at Mama Katerina once. There was no menu. We received a plate with a straw of overcooked broccoli and a beetroot cut into quarters. Then two tasteless grilled fish. These were charged separately for 36 euros.

Although we only stayed one night at the hotel, it was a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, spotless, and featured a beautiful balcony shaded by olive trees. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and warm, making us feel very welcome. It's located just a 5–8 minute walk from one of the best beaches in Lesvos. I would definitely love to return for a longer stay.

Aspa's house is a nicely decorated, well equiped, cozy place. The house is very clean. It is located at 10 mins walking distance from Plomari center. The place has a parking spot. We enjoyed our stay with our 2 daughters. Aspa's mother's homemade jams were delicious. Thank you!
