Perfect place to stay in Poros. The apartment was lovely. Airy, comfortable, with a lot of natural light and great sea view. The hosts pay great attention to details and you have all you could possibly need. Great bakery and supermarket near by, down the road which takes you fast to the nearest beach. Taxi to the Port costs around 6 euro.

Exceptionally friendly staff, the room was very clean with a lovely view from the balcony. In a quiet location with only a 10 minute walk into the centre. Highly recommended!

Directly at the port, only 1 minute walk from ferry. We had room with balcony, which was awesome as you can sit and watch all the yachts coming in :-) You have the opportunity to take your breakfast from downstairs on a tray up to the room and have it on your balcony, we loved this. Very nice rooftop bar (not serviced, but you can sit and enjoy the view) Would definitely return.

We were given a clean room with a beautiful view in an overall very nice hotel with friendly and professional staff and a delicious breakfast. If you want to explore Poros, just be aware that the hotel is a bit out of the way, which may add to its charm, but can also mean you have to walk longer distances. We simply rented a scooter and had a wonderful time finding places off the map.

We arrived earlier than our check-in time, but they kindly let us into the apartment. The apartment was clean and had a comfortable bed. We had an amazing view from our balcony, and the beach was literally just a few steps away.

    We had choice to go to one of three closest islands near...

    We had choice to go to one of three closest islands near Athens. Aegina is big and the closest to Athens so quite crowded on weekends where Athenians escape from the heat. Hydra is quite beautiful but a bit expensive, no sandy beaches near center and no transport on island except of horses and donkeys (it is charming, though, worth to visit for one day). So the last choice was Poros, with moderate prices, nice beaches, even free municipal bus, and 5 minutes boat ride to the mainland village of Galatas, which also has great restaurants to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine.

    Beautiful easy going and laid back island, the atmosphere in town is magical (especially sunsets) and the natural beaches are amazing. Perfect for couples and families or anyone who is looking to chill and relax (we didn't find much nightlife) Note - you must have a car, it's a game changer

    Town, buildings and narrow streets as well as main street by the ships and services all was beatiful, but after all for solo travel one night was enough here to explore it all. Staying with your loved one I am sure you can have most romantic vacation here!

    Poros is one of the most underrated islands, it has a small village feel to it with lots of family run restaurants and hotels. Our favorite restaurant was the White Cat, superb food and amazing service. Poros is family friendly with safe beaches; our favorite being monastery beach. We rented ATV’s and drove safely around the island we loved Poros and would visit it again as it’s a short comfortable ferry ride from Athens.

    Decent place with good ferry links.

    Decent place with good ferry links. Lots of restaurant and bar options and certainly wasn't too busy in May, although I would imagine tourist numbers increase exponentially in high season. We stayed in Poros Port most of the time, except we did take the ferry across to Galatas on the mainland one of the days. However my advice to anyone visiting Poros and wanting to travel further afield is that you really need to hire transport of some kind. I would opt for a dune buggy or similar if we returned. The free bus that circulates the lower part of the island is quite handy but has fairly restricted operating times.

    Our stay at the villa was simply awesome. Our room, the pool area and the grounds surrounding the villa are pristine. The rooms are tastefully decorated and all amenities are super modern and trendy . The owner Angela takes great pride and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a restful, relaxing stay. We would most definitely recommend Villa My Poros over any other property in the Poros area. Sincere thanks to Angela for a truly wonderful stay. We will most definitely return on our figure visits to the island.

    Fabulous outlook . Can see why it’s called Golden View. Comfortable spacious room with great shower. Nice pool . Private beach . Not a great beach by standards of some islands but a great place to swim with lovely water. Very friendly staff. Easy walk to port but some nice eating places close by including the hotel restaurant which we found very good when we tried it twice for lunch

    The hotel is located right on the coast and has its own beach. Outstanding views and a very serene place. Very close to the ferry to Athens which is reachable by taxi. The rooms are very comfortable and breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone searching for a quick getaway to Poros.
