It is a very cozy apartment complex, not too crowded, it’s a family friendly place. Everything looks like the pictures posted on the website and the hosts are very welcoming. You can buy drinks and coffee at the bar for a very good price, compared to other restaurants and bars near the beach and everything is prepared with care and tastes amazing. The wifi is really good and covers the whole area of the property.

Wow - from the moment you step in and get the lovely warm welcome at reception you love the place.Extremely spacious room and balcony.Beautiful bathroom.Great to have the kitchenette where we have a good size fridge.Really comfortable bed.Food at breakfast and dinner was really good Good car parking..Such a relaxing place.Was great to be 2 mins away from the pool and in the evening on the terrace such a beautiful view over the bay and the sunset.A perfect place.The owners make you feel you are really valued.Excellent value - would happily stay again.

Everything about this accommodation was breathtaking. The views. The food. The service. The incredible rooms. The passionate hospitality. From the moment we were greeted by Eleni with such warmth at reception, to walking into our room and being absolutely blown away by the beauty of the room but the view too. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable with any queries we had about the island and passionate about the food and hospitality aspect of the hotel, too. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices and served in the room. Truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. We can't wait to come back. Thank you Icon Suites

The room was very clean, and the bathroom impeccable. The private pool was heated, so was enjoyable at any time of day/night. The housekeeping service was great and they replaced towels regularly. The breakfast was also delicious with an array of options. The breakfast staff were also super friendly. The location of the hotel was a great jumping off point for other beaches in Thasos- easy to get around with a car.

I would like to thank you for the cleanliness of your hotel, the friendliness of the staff, the facilities at the hotel, the ease of transportation and the excellence of the food. Your hotel was very clean and well maintained. Our rooms were cleaned every day and our sheets and towels were changed every day. Our bathrooms were also very clean and hygienic. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They responded immediately to all our questions and requests. Especially the staff at the reception were very caring and helpful. The amenities at your hotel were diverse. There was a pool, beach, restaurant, bar and much more. All places were very clean and well maintained. Food at the hotel was delicious. We had 3 wonderful days. The hotel is on the principal street, it is close to beach, restaurants and shops. It was very clean, they came and change the towels and clean the room everyday. The room was big with a nice view, a beatiful church that was just renovated and in the distance you could see the sea.The breakfast was very good and mixed. If we decide to return to Potos we will definitely book a room here.

Our stay at Hotel Potos was truly enjoyable. The hotel offers excellent facilities, including a clean swimming pool, a kids’ playground, and a cosy poolside bar. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Housekeeping was done daily by very pleasant and attentive staff. I would especially like to highlight Zaharis, who I believe is the hotel manager, and Maria at the reception – both were extremely helpful, kind, and communicative throughout our stay. They genuinely made an effort to make us feel welcome and supported with anything we needed. A memorable moment for us was when, just before the bar closed and the waitress had briefly stepped away, a man who we assume was the owner kindly prepared our drinks himself, served them with snacks, and told us we could enjoy them on the terrace for as long as we liked. It was a small but meaningful gesture that says a lot about the atmosphere in this hotel. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would warmly recommend Hotel Potos to anyone visiting Thassos!

A wonderful accommodation – very clean and recently renovated, in a central location just a short walk from the beach and all the shops and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent, and the private parking is a huge plus, especially in an area where finding parking can be really difficult due to the crowds. I’ll definitely be coming back!

    Potos is a lively town with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. The beach is large and had sun beds that are usually free with a purchase, and the hospitality staff were friendly and helpful. Potos is a great location and is in near reach to other places, usually around a 10/20 minute drive. It is close to Theologos, Giola and other nice beaches including Notos and Rosogremos (both beautiful beaches). Perfect place to stay with a perfect amount of activity and also quaintness.

    It's a small place, nice for families.

    It's a small place, nice for families. Lots of restaurants with nice food and friendly staff. There are a lot of nice beaches nearby by but you have to have a vehicle to get there. Several km away is the city of Limenaria and it's a bit bigger and a bit more fun.

    Potos has a nice mixture of busy touristic party life and cosy family atmosphere - a bit of something for everyone. There are nice tavernas and restaurants, but also a good variety of bars to have a drink after long day at beach. There are plenty of grocery stores, if you want to cook for yourself. The main road is a bit crowded, but you could drive around if need be.

    Potos itself was not very interesting to me, but it is a great place to explore the island from. There is a huge free parking on the entrance to the city which is a great benefit. Must see: - Giola lagoon (jump if you dare) - Salonikios beach - Trypiti beach - La Scala - Marble beach

    It is a nice town with a lot of taverns to eat.

    It is a nice town with a lot of taverns to eat. I recommend the followings, in the order we enjoyed: Poseidon, Klimataria (here you have to wait a little bit more for food preparation, but the taste is awesome) and Irene Official. The Potos Beach is very nice with not very deep water at the shore, which recommend it for families with children. The prices for 2 sunbeds and one umbrella are between 10 EUR without consumption to a full consumption of 15 EUR or even 20 EUR in some places. There are a lot of small shops for souvenirs and also there are many small supermarkets and one big supermarket Masoutis. You can practice water sports and parasailing.

    The road to Potos is amazing, the location is beautiful, the hosts are excellent, but the local authorities do not seem to care too much to preserve the traditional places or local architecture. The streets are destroyed and full of dust, many houses or buildings are in ruins. The beaches are small and crowded, too small for the number of tourists from the city. On the other hand, there are very good restaurants (Poseidon, Irene, etc), where the food is very fresh, big size, and the services pretty good. All in all is good. The local hosts and good restaurants make the difference.

    The house is very close to the beach. It was clean, there is small kitchen with all you need for light cooking, the bathroom reasonable large, clean, no smell and everything needed, AC, Tv. The qvadruple studio for families with two kids though is a bit small, but it will do for short vacations. There might be issues with the parking as it has few parking lots. The owner, Miss Lina is a nice person that cares about her guests and she also gave us a small bottle of olive oil on leaving. Thank You for your hospitality!

    What a beautiful location, generous in space. Accommodation is what you need. Clean, neat, spacious. And the equally generous pool and pool bar place is a must. It's a fabulous settlement, the biggest settlement at a hotel I've stayed at. And there were many hotels where I stayed in the last 30 years. And yes, you can walk to the beach in 10 min. where you can choose any area with sunbeds if you're having a drink. It is a lively resort, full of Romanians.

    A wonderful place! The family and staff are great, extremely kind and welcoming. The studio is cleaned daily. The beach bar at the hotel offers great cuisine - a short but really great menu. The beach to the hotel is cleaned every day. Sunbeds are free of charge by hotel guests. Free parking at the hotel. A place where you can really stay for days without even thinking to go out. Great job by everybody there! Hope to visit you again soon!

    It's perfectly located in near Potos centre where all restaurants and cafes are. There is a very nice beach right in front, 1 minute distance, plus on site free parking which is a rare commodity for the location. Also the hosts, Christina and Manolis are really lovely. Overall an amazing vacation and we'll definitely be back
