The villa was beautiful & Maria the owner was lovely and...

The villa was beautiful & Maria the owner was lovely and very very helpful. The restaurant near the villa was superb too above a gorgeous beach. You definitely need a car to get to a supermarket and other restaurants & visit a few places although we mostly stayed in this beautiful place absorbing the sea view.

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Sundara. From the moment we arrived, it felt like our own slice of Greek paradise. The villa is beautiful and spacious, stylishly decorated and immaculately kept with a stunning outdoor area and sensational views. The pool is large and was perfect. The beach, restaurant and bar are all so close and convenient, The meals at the restaurant were brilliant and the desserts to-die-for from the warm and friendly staff. Everything was effortless. The villa truly gave us the best of both worlds - privacy and comfort with easy access to the beach and local flavors. Our host family made us feel special. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing, memorable escape to Greece.

One of only a few sandy beaches we visited, this was a favourite of ours from last year, so we decided to stay here for a few nights before we continued on to Ithaka. Accommodation was basic but perfect for us as a stopover. It was a short walk (or shorter drive) to the beach. Lovely quiet beach with enough facilities if required. And if you like going "au natural" take a walk down the far end, which we found out by accident :-) For evenings we drove the 5 mins into Skala where there is more than enough places to eat and drink.

I can only say good things about this place, the staff were superb and couldn't be more helpful both with the service at the apartment but also with information about the local area which without, we would have missed out on a fantastic local newly opened restaurant Avli where we spent many evenings

Mounda beach is very large, with sand and a smooth entrance...

Mounda beach is very large, with sand and a smooth entrance to the water, without stones. Otherwise there is nothing in that village, we stayed at Marina Bay resort, very good accommodation, the restaurant leaves something to be desired, but we also ate next door at the Mounda beach restaurant and it was much better.

Since we had the opportunity to travel by car, we visited many beautiful places. The destination Ratzaklíon is very interesting, especially the nearby town of Skala. I am glad that we chose this location, it was also close to the airport and the capital Argostoli.
