I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in February. The location is perfect, especially for those visiting the hospital across the street. The free parking was a great convenience, and the apartments were well-equipped with everything you might need. The decor was stylish, and the beds were very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The hotel is run by the family that owns it, and they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. Their warm and welcoming approach made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Nice size room and shower. Clean. Loved the old school stone stairs, mosaics throughout hotel (created by the owner), very nice garden, super nice owners who take pride in their hotel (as they should), parking is plentiful, easy walk to port, port castle and a casual restaurant with the best food. Also very easy to walk up and out onto the bridge. Others complained of noise, but with windows closed, traffic not noticeable at all. Great stay if you like a local, very traditional hotel. Highly recommend. Easy drive to downtown and sites.

There isn't really much to Rio.

There isn't really much to Rio. It used to be where the ferries crossed to go to the North of Greece. The area to the right of the bridge as you go down has many restaurants and bars along the beach and the locals go swimming there a lot. On the other side to the left of the bridge there are again many nice restaurants and bars. One of the restaurants we went to was perfect. The Nafto oikos. They were fully booked but found a table for us by the kitchen and the food was exceptional. Rio is great if you are visiting Patras or on a stopover. There isn't really much to do there long term.

A good place to stay, especially if you're visiting the University. All amenities within reach, with local tavernas and other shops usually within walking distance. Frequent public transport to the city of Patras and even access to the beach depending on season/weather at the time of visit.

We watched the bridge being built in 2003-2004, were captivated by the beauty of the site, and returned twice. There's a family-run hotel on both sides of the bridge. We love the hospitality and authenticity of the Greeks.

beautiful house, comfortable, with a large garden and several terraces, with privacy and in a quiet location. Comfortable beds, clean and equipped with everything you need. Near good restaurants, right next to the beach and with a good starting point for day trips. Friendly host who equips you with all the tips for your stay in Rio. We'll be back!

The complex was really lovely. The room was very big, well equipped and cosy. The bed was huge and so comfortable. It had a nice balcony with a view. It was peaceful even though it had a busy road at the front, the rooms are set back so you cannot hear the traffic. There were parking bays at the front of the hotel too.

Amazing, huge pool and location by the beach, Kostas and Napoleon very friendly and helpful hosts. The fridge was full of local things for our visit. Amazing views and beach life with the outdoor shower in the garden. Easy access to shops, Delphi. We also made a day trip to Zante which you can do with an early start ☺️

We came by transit to se the bridge and the fortes of Rio, and found this really special, interesting lovely and beautiful place to stay . All Mosaiks are done by the owner & artist of the place. Garten with mandarin trees in the front. Supper friendly supper lovely . Looking forward to come back .
