The staff was exceptional and the room was perfect! The madras was wonderful and we had a great view of the ocean from our room. Again, I need to complement the staff. My boyfriend and I felt very welcome and we experienced how the guests of this hotel keeps coming back because the service is on top!

The location - in the centre of the town with many restaurants, supermarket, nice shops nearby and close to entrance of various hiking trails. The room is spotlessly clean and well-furnished. The host is very friendly and helpful - she helped arrange and facilitate our transportation and our luggage logistic. We enjoyed sitting in the balcony and watched and hustle and bustle of the town. We recommend this place and this host and look forward to coming back.

very close to the beach, nice outdoor with good shade and in very quiet area. Perfect for the families with the kids, you can have nice meal outside of the house and enjoy the sea breeze. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Nonna was perfect. Spotless, comfortable, modern, well located. Couldn't fault it at all. Zacharias is a lovely, friendly, welcoming host. The interior was beautifully designed. It felt very luxury and was the perfect place to come back to after long days exploring the island. Extremely comfortable beds, kitchen had everything required, lovely little outdoor space, useful utility, comfy sofa and large TV, great bathrooms. Sami is so charming and the perfect location in our opinion. It's central and easy to get to all the highlights Kefalonia has to offer. There is a great selection of restaurants and shops, the local people are friendly. It has a relaxed, authentic vibe. We loved it.

Sami is a small port town, there are plenty of restaurants...

Sami is a small port town, there are plenty of restaurants and bars to recharge. The shops are OK, but regarding quality there are only a few. What I liked is that there are some shops selling handcrafted and homemade products. It was not really busy regarding night life and tourists, I heard that it was more vibrant in former times. For me was the second time in Sami and I value it a lot due to the surrounding beaches and the friendly people.

Sami was my favourite location on Kephalonia...

Sami was my favourite location on Kephalonia...I scooted round the island but feel Sami is the most laid back. I liked the bit of beach where the locals swam. The food was good at all the restaurants and I particularly enjoyed drinking in the evening at the blues bar. The only thing that tainted my stay was when on the last day just before I was about to drop my scooter off the police pulled me over for not having an helmet on...and gave me a huge fine of £335. Man all the locals were scooting round without helmets...how come I got whacked? Nice place though

Sami was a great place to stay!

Sami was a great place to stay! We had 4 nights and wanted to stay longer. Very nice little town, we stayed in a great hotel, near a lovely little beach, great promenade and just enough restaurants and shops. You could go for day trips to other beaches, caves and to Ithaka, hire a boat or just stay and relax!

The location is perfect.

The location is perfect. Surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, just a short walk from beaches with crystal-clear water and no crowds, making it a peaceful getaway. Melissani Lake and Drogarati Caves are both nearby and worth visiting.

It’s a very nice town that has a more locals living there...

It’s a very nice town that has a more locals living there feeling. The terrain is wonderful. Sami beach was wonderful the restaurant on Sami beach was wonderful. The acropolis of Sami was a highlight of our three week trip. The Contessa restaurant in Sami was great. And everyday we traveled to a different part of the island. Views everywhere spectacular.

Lovely small harbour town.

Lovely small harbour town. Long beaches , with beautiful clear water. Lovely vibe in the evening peak season and could walk a few minutes along the front and have a beach to ourselves. A couple of good bars and great restaurants.

The owners and staff at the Sami Beach Hotel could not have done more to make us feel welcome and for our stay to be as enjoyable as possible. This was our first visit,but many couples had been coming for many years, which speaks for itself. The hotel itself does not have a restaurant open in the evenings, but there are plenty of local tavernas within walking distance. There was a good selection of home produced food for breakfast. The outside bar is the main focal point of the hotel, which has a stunning outlook.

The apartment was well equipped, clean and suited our needs. Well placed near a coffee shop, bakery and supermarket. Modern with solid furniture. Lovely all around balcony. Beach and square a short walk. Nice to be in a bit more of an authentic setting. Sami felt a good location as a base to see other places too.

Everything was perfect! Very kind people, clean and nice apartment (ours looked even better than the pictures) and the pool was perfect. It is within walking distance of Sami (10-15 minutes) where you will find restaurants near the seaside and where also the port is for the ferries.

The brekky at Staggia Studios was marvellous. This should be the standard every hotel/ b&b should aspire to. Stephania and her Mum are terrific & friendly. Also the location is convenient, local people nice, all in all a great stay on the beautiful island of Kefalonia.

The property was exceptionally comfortable with a beautiful view from the balcony. It was about 25 minutes walk from the centre of Sami and 15 minutes from the nearest shop, which for the price of the property I found reasonable.
