Exactly what we expected. We needed something fairly close to the ferry port, didn't want to spend a lot of money, and this fit the bill. Communication with host was via email, and the transaction was smooth and simple. The unit was clean and fresh, with all the basic amenities needed for a night. This was in a small village that has a couple taverns in the platia as well as a little market near by, all a short walk from the room. The drive to the port is about 15 mins at 7:00 a.m.

Big room with access to yard with all you need, small kitchen fully equipped with fresh fruits. For our kid there was an extendable sofa which was low so no fear of him falling from the bed. Amazing view from the terrasse. Very friendly owner who can give you tips on what to do in the area.

This was the best stay I have ever had in Irakleio. From the moment we entered, we were warmly greeted by a charming gentleman, informing us on all the details. When we got into our room, I was amazed that we had paid so little for so much. Beautifully decorated, clean, perfect matress and pillows. Our friends had a room next to us, which was different, and equally beautiful. In the evening we walked to the centre which was so close. The breakfast was superb! Highly recommended. On the 5th floor there is also a roof garden, also well designed where I could enjoy my cigarette, with a fabulous view. I wish I could have stayed and slept there for much much longer! I rested well in the large comfortable bed. Well done to Kastro. You are brilliant!!!!! Thank you!!!!
