We had the sea view room so we really enjoyed our stay, we stayed at the hotel as an extra night before going to the airport. Staff arranged a taxi for us. Room nice and clean with a small balcony. Ideal location for a lovely walk around suda bay.

Nikos the manager was loveley and so helpful. He recommended restaurants, activities and a local cook (Maria) who delivered home made food to the apartment which was delicious! The apartment itself was modern, spacious and clean with fantastic quiet aircon for a great nights sleep and essentials provided on arrival. The pool area was relaxing, clean and modern with a STUNNING view! Definitely recommend for a chill holiday with friends or family.

The apartment was great, near port of Souda and a 15 min drive from Chania. The host was very nice and arranged a baby cot for our 8 months old daughter. The area is very quiet and she slept great. You can keep the rooms completely dark with the outside blinds. Everything was perfect.

The apartment is modern and nicely furnished, with a clean and minimalist design. The location was convenient – quiet, yet close to shops, restaurants, and the city center. The air conditioning worked well, which was very important during the hot summer days. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean and fresh. The kitchen had essential appliances like a coffee maker, toaster, and kettle , all very helpful. Communication with the host was smooth and check-in was easy.

From Souda, the bus is ~10 minutes to Chania for 1.60€ only. No need for rental car nor searching for parking -- just take bus. Use rental car for pleasure scenic routes into mountains especially Milo's Restaurant. But only during sunlight, not at night!! The trip there is well worthwhile for the food & service, the trip itself is adventurous, scenic & breathtaking because of height.

if your staying in the souda area, dont use the taxi...

if your staying in the souda area, dont use the taxi services. just hop on the number 13 bus and its 2.50 euros to take you to and from chania. we made the mistake of taking a taxi to our apartment from the airport and it was 50 euros. trust me itll take the same amount of time waiting for the bus as it will waiting for a taxi.

Souda is 6 km from Chania.

Souda is 6 km from Chania. It’s close enough to the airport & some nice nearby beaches. It is the main port of Chania from where ferry & cruise liners berth . It is essentially a naval military port. A quiet little local town.

A very nice place with excellent view to the sea and mountains. A new and modern building on the top of the mountain. At the property we found everything we needed: a well equiped kitchen, confortable beds, modern design and technique, good WiFi, a nice terrace with a place for barbeque. The swimming pool outside was very clean and the water was of a confortable temperature. Owners of the property surprised us with a welcoming backet containing olive oil, sweets, coffe and other suff. This place is perfect for relax. We wish to come back some day.

Excellent friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable bed with superb bathroom facilities. Used local cheap reliable bus to visit Chania. Very interesting area which we were unable to see much of as only there one night en route to other areas in Crete. Hope to return one day!

Souda, to my knowledge, has nothing particularly special about it, except for its ideal location near Chania and 20 minutes from the airport, yet it's very peaceful! Souda has all the necessary small shops. But I must admit I spent more time in the magnificent city of Chania...

The warmth reception from the host was a big initial plus. Very friendly and we were greeted with just out of the oven home made tiropita: delicious! The place was exactly as advertised, the pictured didn't lie at all. Very spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet. The place was like 5 minute drive to Souda and 10-15 to Chania. It was close to main road accesses so it was easy to move around. Highly recommended!

Beautifully decorated and comfortable house. The Host understands what is needed to make your stay complete. The welcome is warm and cordial. Ελενη is exceptionally hospitable and goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. The house is located near the Bay of Souda, and is ideally located as a base for those who would like to discover a bit of the area every day. The old town of Χανια is a highlight.

We needed to stay in Souda for one night so that we could catch the ferry to Athens at 10am in the morning. This location was an awesome choice as not only was it close to the port but also close to Chania city! The apartment had free parking on site and was clean with a fully equipped kitchen. The host had some treats in the fridge for the kids and bottles of cold water waiting for us :)

The information for coming there was excellent. The view was to Souda Bay. Excellent accomodation with lot of space and quality facilities, very modern and tidy. In the room there was lots of information also from the neighourhood and Souda. We went to the pizzeria Fourno, which was recommended, and it was an amazing choice.
