Stavros is a growing resort expanding an old greek fishing and trading port. In the old schoolhouse in the Upper Town there is a museum of Stavros life in times gone by, very interesting. Busy little beach town with a lot of tourists, shops and restaurants. Not your place if you are looking for quiet summer, but great place to be if you are social or with small children. Most of the tourists are from Serbia, Bulgaria and North Macedonia and in some restaurants they even speak the languages.
