Wonderful warm welcome from the owner Nico, it’s a lovely hotel with amazing views of the sea. We opted for the breakfast which was delicious. Our host was so helpful and kind. It was a wonderful stay.

We (five adults) stayed for 15 days. The house was spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable extended stay—plenty of everything. All appliances were new. We were provided with extra towels and bedsheets whenever we needed them. The terrace in front is the best spot for summer, and we spent most of our time there when not at the beach. The host was fantastic: upon arrival, we received a welcome package with wine, chilled water, bread, marmalade, and coffee. The small sandy beach is just a three-minute walk away. One shop is right next door, and another is only four minutes away.

The owners, George and Faye, are extraordinarily friendly and caring people. Studios are perfect for the price, the view is amazing. The place is beautiful with several good beaches, yet not crowded at all, in spite of the fact, that we stayed there on the top of the season. We have visited Greece many times, and this was easily one of the most charming places we have holidayed.

Great place to experience the south crete before it gets...

Great place to experience the south crete before it gets commercialized.A long beach with shade and access to awesome hiking paths to Asterousia mountains and their hidden treasures. The people are still hospitable and give great tips for things to see around. You can also take boat cruises to beaches accessible only by sea or rent a bike to see the south coastline all the way to Myrtos.

Very peaceful, authentic little town!

Very peaceful, authentic little town! Beaches were long, clean, and had organized areas as well as natural with some clothing optional areas at the far end. Don’t miss the hike over to Maridaki as the views are spectacular! It takes about 20-30 minutes (plus stoppage time for photos!). Several restaurants. We enjoyed Zorbas the best. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, then Tsoutsouros fits the bill!

A small fishing village on the southern coast of Crete.

A small fishing village on the southern coast of Crete. Ideal for a quiet vacation. No quad bikes racing up and down or noisy bars. But beautiful scenery and a few tavernas, apartments and hotels. Popular with Greeks as well as other Europeans. Relaxed atmosphere.

I can only speak from our experience in mid-November, the off-season; absolutely nothing was going on. We were the only guests in the hotel and, for the most part, in the entire village. There was one hotel, one restaurant, a small supermarket, and a mini-market.

A quiet, off-the-beaten-path location, this is the perfect place if you're looking for relaxation. It's a bit far from popular beaches, but they're easily accessible by car, though it takes a little patience.

The village is pretty and quiet, but if you want to visit...

The village is pretty and quiet, but if you want to visit other beaches, such as Matala or Ierapetra, you'll have to travel a bit. The entrance to the village is via a slightly winding but wide mountain road that takes about 15 minutes. If you love tranquility, it's highly recommended.
