It was an ideal base to explore the island from.
It was an ideal base to explore the island from. It was peaceful and quiet, but had the famous Monastery (the coach trips visit) in walking distance. The bakery, supermarket and restaurant had everything I needed locally. There was also a couple of winery's there to visit. It is not a touristy place at all, it's a village where most properties are lived in by locals. A car is needed, but with a car all the must see places on the island are accessible. You then return to the peace a quiet of a real Greek village.Guest review byAnonymous
