Location is perfect, just few steps away from the beach. Breakfast is fantastic with so many choices. All the staff were very kind, helpful and very positive, you can see that they are treated well and are an important part of the experience. This family hotel is just about the perfect size, owners and all the staff get to know you very soon and you feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend Porto Fico for your stay in Vasiliki.

Housekeeping made sure our room was clean all the time, and did a very good job at it. The variety of the breakfast buffet offerings combined with the quality of food makes a perfect breakfast. The price corresponds very well with the quality of accommodation you get, it felt like the owner really cares about his guests enjoyment and is not just another person looking to profit at all costs.

I highly recommend this hotel. We came with 4 people looking to windsurf, the wind was not playing ball though, but because of this hotel, it's location, the facilities and the staff, we still had an awesome time. We arrived very late due to a flight delay, we would have fully understood if the hotel staff would have just left a key somewhere for us. Instead Makis stayed up for us and made us feel very welcome (even though he had an early rise for the breakfast the next morning)! This turned out to be really typical for the staff, everyone was super friendly and helpfull. The rooms are simple but clean and well supplied with airco, a fridge, thea and coffee set and a tv. The matras was a bit hard for my liking, but this is personal of course. From the rooms you can almost jump in the pool or sea. The breakfast buffet was also very good, including (but certainly not limited to) fresh fruit, delicious greek yoghurt, pastries and eggs.  Lunch was not included but was very reasonably priced and very good (make sure to try the ntakos) so we ate at the hotel almost every day (this also gave us a good chance to monitor the flag for signs of the wind).  We rented our gear at the surfschool that's operated by the hotel. If you're a windsurfer or winger I would highly recommend doing this, as a guest of the hotel you get a good discount and they have nice gear from Duotone, Severne and Goya. Also the guys and girls from the rental are very helpfull and take time to give you tips and help carry your gear. We even received some short freestyle lessons when there was no wind (thanks Tom!).  The beds on the beach are free to use for guests of the hotel, so great when you're having to wait for wind (having an iced coffee and looking out over the beautiful water really takes the sting out of the lack of wind). All in all I'm looking foward to coming back here soon, and can recommend this hotel to everyone!

Very nice place, beautiful view over the city, friendly staff (although some don't speak English), excellent breakfast, we didn't use the pool but nice to have, comfortable and clean rooms, the gym was a great value add. Very dog friendly (for free), which I very much appreciate. Free parking.

The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. Employees and the owner, Mr. George were so nice and polite. Mr. George is extremely helpful and always available to his guests. It was perfect, comfortable and clean, had everything we needed in the villa and more. Amazing sea view from the villa, the pool, and access to the sea. Feels like out in nature with privacy, yet walking distance from a beautiful beach, nice mountain easy hiking with amazing view. We loves Vasiliki Port and sivota with Yana's yamy restaurant. We were very sad to leave, we will defenetly come back. Thank you Amir and Mila for a great service and contacts with the locals for activities

    Vasiliki is a relatively cheap resort on the island of Lefkada. There are all the facilities - restaurants, car hire, etc. It has a long organised beach excellent for windsurfers. It is close to the three excellent snorkelling beaches Ammoussa, Afteli, and Agiofili, reachable by car. Against that, it is at the very south of the island and therefore a long way from other destinations. It takes about 40 mins by car to get to the capital city which is also called Lefkada. Some people may be put off by the windiness of the beach. Other beaches nearby are more sheltered.

    Vassiliki is a vibrant small village with relaxed people who are mainly there for sailing and windsurfing. So they create also this relaxed vibe. The tavernas are great but bit pricey, at least for us. They tend to increase the prices every year regardless if there is inflation or deflation.

    Had everything one could want.

    Had everything one could want. I was paddle boarding and generally early morning was delightfully still with strong breezes rarely picking up before mid day. I happily bought all my food etc from one of the local supermarkets.

    It was very relaxing with plenty of options for eating out and option to take boat trip for the day to other remote beaches, and nearby islands and sights If you like windsurfing and sailing this is your place

    Vassiliki is an excellent place for active and beach...

    Vassiliki is an excellent place for active and beach holidays. A lots of visitors come in the season, Vasiliki is friendly and social, everyone is welcome to visit for short and long stays. There is a car rental shop in the village and also a boat trip to additional beaches. Lefkada offers some of the nicest beaches in Greece and they are all accessible by car.

    There are great restaurants and shops There is one place for desserts that is amazing . Jo MIil is the name They make only waffles and have the best ice cream There are a lot of options for water sports , cruising The beach is with stones and you can rent sun beds and umbrellas for a convenient price between 10 and 15 euros Overall it`s a great place to stay I would recommend Ammos and Thalassa Close to the beach, great view, the hosts are amazing. Everything is spot on there

    Really lovely family-run hotel with staff who are very welcoming and who couldn't do enough for you. Place is spotless inside and really well maintained outside. It's clear it gets a lot of tlc! Fantastic pool and hillside views of Vasiliki and the valley. Our room had modern decor with a nice balcony and was cleaned every day. Super comfy bed. No noise at all even though we were next to the lift. Very chilled atmosphere. Owner was kind enough to drop us to the port on departure. Ample parking.

    Very tidy and spacious, not suitable without rented vehicle though, due to the fact that buses during main season run actually almost none so be prepared to hike to the nearest town. To catch any taxi was a mission impossible (in vasiliki area) . Otherwise it was really good for a short trip! Recommend to rent e-bike or to book a tour via LEFKADA E-BIKE Adventures, they are absolutely the best <3!

    Everything was amazing: the location, the facilities, the environment and most importantly, the superhost, Maria. This was the best accommodation we have ever had in Greece, a spacious apartment with a view to the port and to the restaurants, that had all the amenities we needed.
