The atmosphere and the place are really pleasant, very clean, the beds are comfortable. A very nice breakfast, handmade pastries, cheese, sausage, bread, butter and eggs. This beautiful house has been restored to perfection by the owner Dimitris and his team. The location in the tiny village of Ano Podina is calm and peaceful, with a coffee terrace giving gorgeous views over the nearby mountains/sunsets. Monodendri, one of the more popular towns with tourists, is only a 15 min drive away. The hotel is surrounded by incredible spots for hiking over mountains or along rivers. Our rooms were sparkling clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff were kind, friendly and professional at all times. Genuinely, I think this was one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed. We visited in March, and the weather/temperature was perfect for hiking/exploring nature. Thank you so much to the Ameliko Zagori team for a wonderful visit!
