Very clean and modern hotel with excellent clear water pool, comfortable beds and calm atmosphere. Friendly and accommodating staff made sure that we had everything for the comfort - fridge, slippers, bathrobes. We felt very welcome and appreciated that our early check-in request was met. Huge plus is the hotels location: near the lake Kournas and a very short drive to Rethymno. Restaurants, beach and shopping made us stay in the area and we have visited cities only for sightseeing.

The hotel is new, very nice. The rooms are nice and really clean. The service and staff is amazing. It's right next to the beach. At the pool, apart from beds and umbrellas they have cabanas as well. The breakfast is great, a good variety,also they make omlette from the ingredients you choose, fresh juices.

What a lovely find! We stayed for a week, the room was very clean & comfortable, lovely sea view. Plenty of storage. Fridge & kettle in the room, so nice to be able to sit on the balcony with a coffee after a day at the beach, and also have chilled beers to hand! The location was excellent, just a 5 minute stroll to the square or the beach. Great wifi, decent air con (needed). Excellent value for money would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony in the evenings. The Bathroom was lovely and clean and the shower was big and perfect. The hotel had a calm relaxed feel to it .

Everything. The breakfast in particular is excellent! The location, the rooms, the staff. We went at the very end of the season. We got upgraded to a bigger room with a sea view for free. It was really nice! We enjoyed everything. The staff noticed we needed bed protection for the kids and they installed two of them without us even asking for it! Just excellent. We will come back without hesitation!

Beautiful village almost untouched by tourism.

Beautiful village almost untouched by tourism. Friendly generous and caring people. Small but served all our needs. Lovely guy opposite coffee shop would take shopping to the Villa for us. Coffee shop does the most amazing cakes and coffee plus ice cream. Good butcher along the road. Nice couple of restaurants and bars. Cash machines available but at a charge.

Greeted by butterflies everywhere.

Greeted by butterflies everywhere. It was magical from the start. The pool was lovely and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Manouso. Kind and generous man who brought us a huge bag of oranges. We had fresh squeezed juice every morning. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from the upper terrace. We loved how close it was to Georgioupolis (10-15 min drive) and exploring other areas as well. It was our oasis from the day. Admittedly, the initial look of how dark and dated it looked inside depicted a little rustic vibe that might have seemed a little too much for our city- selves and I was not sure about it but I am so glad we did. If this is available book it!! You will be glad you did. The house has a wonderful vibe and that lovely light that shines through the house in the morning is glorious. I loved too that communication with the managent company was fast, helpful and personable. It was a wonderful experience all together. Our favourite spots were Georgioupolis (the beach, finishing up in the square with free wifi and ice cream). We did a safari tour, visited Arkadi Monastery and Elafonisi ( with a tour because we didn't want to drive) and Lake Kournas. Great location from which to explore. The bigger cities like Chania and Rethymnon are all under an hour's drive. Highly recommend Markos Taxi. They picked us up and we were able to store our luggage with them for a few hours and managed a swim, a bite to eat and emjoy Georgioupolis one last time as check out is eatly and our flight from Chania wasn't until early evening. That was a treat.
