This is a beautiful traditional home in Zaros, offering three apartments. Every apartment is clean and extremely comfortable with everything you need inside. The bottom apartments are great for jumping straight into the pool and the top apartments are has incredible views. The village of Zaros has everything you need, tavernas, coffee shops, little traditional bars, pharmacy, bakery, butcher and gift shops. You are close to hike the Rouvas Gorge and visit Lake Zaros. The nearest stunning beaches are approximately 40min away. The owner Vivi and her sister Cristina make you feel welcome straight away. Their Taverna Vegera, is great, serving home cooked traditional delicious food. We spent 3 nights at St Ten Stone Village and were absolutely delighted. The residence is calm, beautifully renovated, and perfectly clean, with an incredible pool and stunning surroundings. The authentic village atmosphere, the charming church, and the attention to every detail make it feel like a luxury hotel. The staff are exceptionally kind, attentive, and always available, which made our stay even more special. The breakfast is homemade and exceptional, and the tavern next door offers fantastic traditional meals for dinner. It was an enchanting experience where we truly felt at home. We highly recommend St Ten Stone Village to anyone visiting Crete!

Extraordinary hospitality from the owners. The house was spacious, equipped with everything we needed and more. Location close to restaurants, bars and the Saturday fair in Moires. Few minutes by car to the archeological sites of Phaistos and Gortyna. Would sincerely recommend.

Fragma suite was the perfect place to stay for our family vacation. The children were happy about the beautiful lawn where they could play. We were so grateful for the hospitality and the generosity of the owners, we really felt the spirit of the Cretan filoxenia while staying there. The appartment was spotlessly clean and we loved that the kitchen was so well equipped, there was practically everything. We also loved that the property and the parking was fenced, so we felt absolutely safe with the 2 year old. We really recommend this accomm odation!

we liked everything; comfortable beds, great stay;very quiet location but still close enough to heaches and Knossos and Heraklion ( car an absolute must). we arrived very late at the property and we were met by a lovely host who made us feel very welcome! even though it was the middle of the night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house; it’s very quiet and well equipped. everything you need for a relaxing stay. if you love being away from the crowd this is an absolute treat!

    The village is peaceful, full of charm, and perfectly located for exploring Crete. It has everything you need within walking distance — a grocery store, bakery, crepe shop, and several places to eat. The people here are incredibly welcoming, and we experienced true Greek hospitality and kindness. It’s a place with character, where you can relax and enjoy local life, yet still be within easy driving distance of all the island’s main attractions.

    I loved the serenity. It was a perfect escape from the City. A night without the usual mod cons is quite OK. The trout from the local restaurants was perfect for dinner. I would suggest avoiding the heat of Summer.

    Very peaceful location. Authentic unspoilt village. It was like stepping back in time. No touristy stuff at all..not even a souvenir shop as far as I could see.Surroundings are incredible. I was a solo traveller and felt very much at home there.. It'd a big draw for walkers..I just wanted to chill and enjoy the views .

    Zaros is a village in the mountains ,it has the famouse lake of Zaros and the spring and the famous water of Zaros. It has traditional food and helpful lokal people. You can visit in the summer as well in the winter.

    This came a bit randomly in our trip and we’re glad it did. We loved Zaros for both the warmth of its people and the beauty of its decor. Our hike in Rouvas was great and every encounter was like it was family members. One of the highlights of our trip to Creta. If you like getting closer to people and their culture it’s a must on your list. If you’re into more attractions or shopping this one is not for you.

    A very nice area of olive groves and brush from 500 m up where you can go hiking right from the hotel (Agios Ethimnios, Rouvas Gorge) or from Lake Votomos. You can also visit monasteries (in particular Vrontisi monastery). Plenty of good and very affordable tavernas around.

    Warm welcome by the friendly owners with home made local delicacies and tour around the house. Very quite location, with a lovely view from the terras on the Zaros mountains. The house is spacious, clean and all equipment is available. Excellent place to feel the authenticity of this very charming village and good base to explore the environment.

    Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Zaros, we loved the rooftop pool which gave a glorious view of the hills as well as a refreshing dip. The room was so pretty. Staff were so helpful and their restaurant recommendation for our evening meal was the most perfect restaurant. The breakfast we had the following morning was delicious

    We stayed in a well maintained large traditionally decorated duplex apartment and enjoyed peaceful stay in Zarós, with good access to the main road through the village and convenient parking on site at Nana Apartments. Hosts were very friendly and provided us with an excellent breakfast.

    Excellent host, very proactive and helpful. Very comfortable bed, very clean and spacious room with a balcony. Nice hot shower. Good location. The host family are so nice. They gave me a lift to the next town as there were no buses that day from Zaros. Very kind
