The check in was quick and we were even able to access the rooms early, which was a great bonus. The rooms are beautiful, reached across large patios full of plants and decorated with Colonial style furniture. the restaurant was very good and breakfast abundant. The location is impeccable.

The family is one of the most lovely families I've met in all my travels so far. The yucatec Maya (grandmother) is so genuine and sweet. Patricia is so sweet and kind. They really make sure your taken care of. Carry your bags and make sure you have everything you need. I highly suggest the fire ceremony it's a beautiful ceremony. I wish I stayed longer. There's much more to chichicastenango then the market. And this family and hotel proves that! The beds are unbelievably comfortable and cozy. It is so clean. The food they make is good. Filtered water, the mask museum is right next door. 10 minute walk to the market in the morning! Perfect place thank you for a wonderful stay.

The breakfast was excellent and Staff were terrific. The view is lovely and overlooks the garden and ponds. You just have to take a shuttle/bus to go into ChiChi or Santa Cruz - this was not a problem as buses are frequent. I loved the fact that the place is clean and quiet. Busing back and forth is easy due to frequency of buses.
