Would highly recommend this place and would love to visit again in the future. If the place hadn’t been fully booked, I would definitely have extended my stay. This is the best place to relax and get down in gear. read a book in the hammock. Go for swims in the lake. Go for a kayak trip. Fill your belly with delicious food. The place is adorable. The food is so good, generous portions and fair prices. Communal dinner every night means you get a chance to meet most of the other guest. Thereby also a nice place to go as a solo traveler. The staff and owner are super sweet. There’s a little yoga hut with lake view that I had all for myself to exercise in the morning.

Modern and clean hotel rooms, some with sea view, bed was very comfortable, shower and AC worked fine. Hotel and its restaurant is beautiful, food was well done, too, and they got a nice beer selection. The whole hotel feels like an oasis in the middle of Livingston. And the staff is great, especially Carlos made us feel at home, and everyone was super helpful. Bring a bit of time when eating here, they're not the fastest, but the food is worth it.

I had 3 nights in the basic room ,loved it, it was a really nice room with a view of the river. The managers were really nice people. The hot shower was a bonus.

An amazing hostel located up the Rio Finca which flows into the Rio Dulce. Having stayed at another lovely hostel close to the town of Rio Dulce, I would say this end of the river is more beautiful and unspoilt. You can take kayaks out and explore the little mangrove creeks near the hostel or venture as far afield as the Biotopo nature reserve. So many suggestions of fun and interesting things to do you could easily spend a week here!

We had a fantastic stay at Livingston Resort Hotel. We arrived by lancha, which was super nice. We were welcomed by Noemi, who is a super nice and helpful host. She is great! She helped us with everything: tours and activities for the day, looking for shuttle services, even booking a hotel in Quiriguá for the next day (which seemed almost impossible). Also the other staff members are so nice! The hotel has perfect location, along the seaside, with a great swimming pool too. Our room had a view on the beach, which was great. The rooms are nice and clean, with AC. There is also good restaurant, which is open all day, with view on the beach. I certainly recommend Livingston Resort Hotel!
