The property is so nicely done, very comfortable from the moment you arrive. You feel at home here because of the two wonderful hosts that will show you around the area, organise transfers and provide great food! Also the facilities and decor have been done very beautifully so that you can just hang out in your bungalow and enjoy the quiet. Ismael is a gem, super helpful and friendly - he really cares about the people coming through his beautiful hotel right on the water, with a gorgeous pier with hammocks to chill in, tube rings to float in and a pier to jump off (if it's not hurricane season, that is). The staff are friendly and helpful, and even got my laundry done for me which was much needed. Drinks are reasonably priced and they have a happy hour. I tried some veggie curry which was beautiful, and the dorm bed I slept in was very comfy. Overall the place is really beautifully designed and maintained, and they offer a boat ride to Rio Dulce right of their dock, which is super convenient. There are small lockers in the dorm.

The best reason for staying here is the manager, Giovanni. He is a bilingual jewel. Great with arranging trips up the Rio Dulce but even more describing the history of the area.

You really feel like in a paradise. I could not believe it. It's super calm, nice, in the jungle. Separated from everything. You just walk in not really nice street and once you enter the garden, you cannot believe. It has a beautiful space for chilling, drinkabe water is available all the time. The staff is really nice even though not everyone speaks English.

The place has a privileged location, it is near the captaincy pier, Quehueche beach, walking you can get everywhere, the attention was incredible, Kriss the host is exceptional, he is the soul of the place and together with his wife Haidy, they made it Our stay was comfortable, pleasant, fun and we felt like family. They cared about everything, even ensuring that my husband, who fell ill on the trip, ate healthy and had adequate medication. I recommend NIRVANA RESORT as a destination for your next vacation. Postscript: I leave it in English so that Kriss can know how delighted we are and that he doesn't need anything else to improve other than maintaining that positive energy to serve all of his clients.

Julio was lovely and the place is as shown. A lovely basic homestay in the middle of nowhere. We were basically the only people staying when we came which was lovely but I can imagine it could feel crowded if it was busy. There's a small shop 2 mins walk through the jungle where you can buy staples but only occasionally has fruit/veg. You're in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do apart from admiring the beauty around you, perfect for what we wanted but don't expect lots to do! Can go swimming in the river.
