Excellent location, very suitable for people who love nature. Shops and restaurants are close enough. Wonderful views. The apartment was clean and spacious, the host friendly and accommodating. But the best thing is the wood-burning fireplace that creates a cosy atmosphere.

The apartment was very well equipped and in a very nice setting. It would be especially nice in summer as it is in the foothills of the mountain range. I think this property is astounding value for money. Other properties in the area are much more expensive.

Amazing house, warm and cozy. Quite new and clean, well equipped. I loved the fireplace. Comfortable beds and quiet location. We felt like at home. The host is helpful and friendly, no issues with check in and communication (we arrived a bit later than planned). Would stay again!

The stay was phenomenal. Its located in the mountains. So even in summer its quite chilly and nice. Especially at night. The staff is amazing, the hosts are super helpful. My buddies bike broke down, the host let us use his garage and tools to fix it. The food is amazing. Homemade deer stew was first class!

Nice village in the middle of Gorski Kotar.

Nice village in the middle of Gorski Kotar. Perfect location for visiting mountains and forests. There is large lake right next to the village which provides very nice scenery and perfect location to watch stars in the moonless nights. In addition, there is very large cave in the village called Lokvarka which has very big and spacious galleries.

Lokve is a great location to explore Gorski Kotar from.

Lokve is a great location to explore Gorski Kotar from. Many natural attractions are nearby like Golubinjak forest, Kamacnik canyon and Risnjak national park. Also, within a 20 minute drive there are many restaurants to choose from.

Many things to see in the area, it just depends if you want...

Many things to see in the area, it just depends if you want to stay at one location and explore from there or move every day to a new place. The tourist office had all the wrong information so double check on their info. Lokvarsko lake is quiet a nice walk, and the Kupa river source is something worth seeing. Couldnt check out the cave because of the working days.

Right next to the highway, but still a quiet village. Many activities for spending your free time: Lokve Lake (beaching or walking around the lake, stalactite cave, Risnjak National Park (hiking, climbing). There is a small shop in the village, but for larger purchases there is Lidl in the nearby town.

The location is great, just a few minutes by car to...

The location is great, just a few minutes by car to Lokvarsko Lake, Lokvarka Cave, Golubinjak Forest Park, the best restaurants and other wonderful places to see. The hosts are kind and accommodating, and the accommodation itself is wonderful, neat, clean, fully equipped and carefully decorated. We hope to come back a few more times. :)

A cute little place with friendly people and all the...

A cute little place with friendly people and all the necessary amenities for those looking for a quiet vacation. There are two small local shops, a restaurant in the center and one a little outside, cafes and everything is very close and can be reached by easy walking. Excellent location and all the surrounding smaller or larger towns can be reached in 15-20 min by car.
