The stay in apartment Datala was terrific. We stayed in for 12 days and enjoyed every minute. The kitchen is well-equipped. The big fridge allows you to buy and cool enough fruits, including the big watermelons that are so usual in Croatia and other stuff that needs cooling. When you do not want to go outside to the restaurant, you can prepare your meal on a glass ceramic induction hob, using different pans and pots from the kitchen cabinet. Part of the kitchen equipment is a manual espresso machine, which is also a significant advantage when having breakfast in the apartment. The king-size bed in the bedroom is very comfortable, and the cabinet where you can unpack all your stuff with enough hangers makes you feel at home. I did not try the comfortability of the other bed in the other bedroom, but as the kids did not claim and woke up every day in a good mood, I suppose that even this folding bed was comfy. The bathroom isn't very spacious, but it has everything you need! Besides the sink, toilet, and shower, the owner got into this room, as well as washing and drying machines and a cabinet with cleaning supplies. The only slight problem is with the parking. We were travelling with a Toyota ProAce Verso, which is not a tiny car. We left our car across the street when we arrived, but when we left the place because of the trip, it was occupied by someone else. Two or three days we parked our car in the parking place next to the house, but we received a note from the Ambulance staff (Ambulance is in the basement of the house); then we left our car on the main street leading to the beach, which was comfortable for us now as we were leaving the beach stuff in it. Marina is a small but well-equipped town with many restaurants, two supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a sweet shop that sells many different kinds of ice cream and makes pancakes. The beaches are not sandy but have little white stones, but you still needn't wear shoes.

I was absolutely impressed by this place, especially by the host, Ante. I’ve never experienced such warm and thoughtful hospitality — from a delicious welcome dinner to personalized tips, restaurant recommendations, and even help with booking a traditional local meal. Anyone staying here should definitely trust Ante’s suggestions! The apartment is a beautifully renovated, cozy 2-bedroom home located in a quiet part of the village. Surrounded by olive groves and just a couple of neighboring houses, it’s ideal for peaceful walks with a dog. The property is very dog-friendly, with plenty of shaded areas under greenery to escape the sun, and a sunny poolside for relaxing. Although there are outdoor toys like a trampoline and swings, I’d recommend this place primarily for adults due to the many small stone steps around the property. Inside, the house is exceptionally well-equipped — everything from a blender and coffee maker to baking paper and dishwasher tablets is thoughtfully provided. You’ll need a car to get around, and while parking takes a bit of practice, you’re less than an hour away from Split, Krka, Trogir, Primošten, or Marina. It’s perfect for spending the day by the pool and heading out for evening sightseeing. A peaceful, beautifully renovated retreat with outstanding hospitality. I absolutely want to return!

Best location since you viewed the main centre for sunrise & sunset. Balcony for breakfast. New, modern facilities. Bedroom was all white👍, comfortable bed. Host very friendly. Easy to park outside. Locate apartment from stairs outside, very private. Would stay here again. Stroll around the bay to restaurants & morning walks was great value due to location.

Marina was lovely. It is a Marina.

Marina was lovely. It is a Marina. The port is the focal point for everything going on. There are restaurants and a few shops. We were lucky enough to coincide with local celebrations on 25th July which meant a popular Croatian band played in the centre. If you are after rest and relaxation this is the place to go!

I went to Marina to pick up/return a boat from marina Agana; it was a perfect choice because it was so close and it has a nice beach for a first/last swim. I would not spend more than one day there though.

Lovely location with a choice of local restaurants/bars and two supermarkets. Decent range of cheap local bus options to get to/from Trogir from the centre of Marina and some direct bus options to Split from the main road.

A lovely new modern hotel in a quiet fishing village.

A lovely new modern hotel in a quiet fishing village. Many Multi-generational Croatian families using the public beach in front of the hotel. A few local restaurants. A lovely quiet location for a short "fly and flop" stay. I would return!

We visited Marina and stayed in Villa Dolac.

We visited Marina and stayed in Villa Dolac. It truly is a beautiful, peaceful place, surrounded by untouched nature but close to the shops, beach, great bars and restaurants by the sea. In the village is one of the best restaurant we have ever experienced - Konoba Sesula. We could jog by the hills every day, play sports, exercise in the gym, have fun by the amazing infinity heated pool without disturbing anyone, the villa is excellent for athletes and families. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Croatia, Trogir and Split.

The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the beach. The apartment itself is incredibly clean, well equipped and spacious. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. The hosts are more than willing to help anytime. The parking is very close, not an issue at all, plus the hosts were willing to help carry our luggage! The beaches are clean and not overcrowded. We simply LOVED staying in the heart of Marina. Highly recommend.

It is a small boutique hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent, beach bar was perfect for lunch, drinks or dinner and the quality of the food in the hotel restaurant exceeded our expectations. Our room had everything we needed with a comfortable bed, balcony and good bathroom.

The apartment was very clean and cozy, really great contact with the owner. The apartment is fully equipped with all you might need during the holiday stay. It has amazing view over the bay and its location is superb. Very close to the local beach as well as bars and restaruants.
