I was there in the off-season, it's certainly very different when it's full of tourists and cars and kids and campers in summer. There's no supermarket but a small bakery selling fresh bread and produce. There's a local olive oil producer in town which was a delight to visit. Savudrija is nothing special, there is a good beach at the autocamping and nothing else. We only booked here our accomodation because we wanted to visit the Slovenian beaches and cities and the border is close here and here was cheap place to stay.Guest review byedonkaHungary

Not far from Zambrattia is Umag (5 km) where you can buy products in Lidl/Kaufman, fresh fish. Perfect place for kids (nearest beach is from sand, not from rocks, and water is not deep).
