We loved everything about the Vela Luka and the accommodation. The hotel is directly in the center, guests have free parking. The equipment in the room is beautiful and new, everything was super clean and smelled nice. The view from the room is directly to the sea. We went for a swim to Pičenda beach (several beaches are easily accessible by car) and also took a walk around Vela Spila cave (there are several options from 2km up to 14 km walks).

An absolutely perfect place. Mara is a wonderful person and so welcoming and kind, she made us feel like we were visiting family. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this accommodation in Vela Luka! The location was perfect – close enough to the center to easily reach shops, restaurants, and everything else I needed. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything to make my stay comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Vela Luka. I would definitely love to return in the future!

Usually, I do not leave reviews, however, the hospitality of the landlady was exceptional! She prepared an apartment with a turned A/C, cold juice, and all other little things, which make you feel like at home. Very pleasant stay and big recommendation.

I think this is the most welcoming and most charming place I have ever stayed in.. It's not fancy, but it's very clean and has everything you need.. Host are the kindest people I have ever met.. If you are looking for a peace and quiet with an amazing view over the bay, you won't be disappointed. Having breakfast on a terrace was priceless. Hosts even prepared local dish for us and It tasted better than in any restaurant.. Loved everything.

Very well equipped and newly furnished apartment, space-full, host are great and very kind (we got cold water, wine and offered with rakia). Apartment is very clean, 400m from center of Vela Luka. Parking is available. Separate leaving room and bad room. Good quality of WiFi and TV.

The hostess Ivana is very kind and hospitable. She gave us a lot of useful information for our stay. The apartment is completely new, clean and well equipped. It is located right above 2 shops. Which is very convenient. Other amenities are also close by. For those arriving by car, there is a covered parking in front of the building.

    Vela Luka is a hidden gem!

    Vela Luka is a hidden gem! It’s not overly touristic, which was exactly the appeal for us. The days are slow and relaxed, the food is delicious, and the people are lovely — it feels like a more authentic side of Croatia. It’s the perfect place to unwind, but at the same time there’s plenty to do. We went scuba diving, spent time at the beach, tried different restaurants, and enjoyed walking around. Honestly, we could have easily stayed at least two weeks just relaxing and exploring the different areas. We were there for 3 days and 3 nights, and it wasn’t nearly enough!

    A great little town with much fewer visitors than Dubrovnik...

    A great little town with much fewer visitors than Dubrovnik for example, a very pleasant town and harbour to wander round with plenty of bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours, easy to get ferries to other islands or just across the bay to a swimming spot.

    The place is really nice and very well located.

    The place is really nice and very well located. However, the WiFi in our room didn't work during our stay. The people at the management office were diligent in finding a solution although the result was not positive at all. As you can imagine, not having WiFi at all in our room was an unpleasant surprise.

    It is a wonderful town with great restaurants and bars.

    It is a wonderful town with great restaurants and bars. You can find well-equipped groceries, a drugstore, and everything you need for your stay here. There is a beautiful boulevard by the marina. You can find nice beaches within walking distance. If you have a car, there are plenty of outstanding beaches that you can drive to in less than 15 minutes. Additionally, you can take a boat taxi to visit the nearby, wonderful Proizd Island.

    Amazing house, in a nice location far away from the noise of the town. Hypermarket is available in 10 minutes by car. A boat or jetski is worth reserving in advance. Real transformation both for adults and kids... Unforgettable vacation.

    Nice little coastal town, with less to see compared to...

    Nice little coastal town, with less to see compared to Korčula city. Nice to be based for exploring rest of the island and the island Proizd. Remnants of industrial times when the city was in it's peak are visible throughout. Vela Spila is also a must see.

    It was the best Holiday we ever had. Vela Luka is lovely small city with many restaurants, shops, very nice beaches and promenade. It is very good place to stay for 1 or 2 weeks. It is also a very good base to explore Korcula island. Apartament is very comfortable, very, very clean and nice. Our host Dragi was very kind and helpful. Everything was 100% ok and thank you again for a great holiday. We hope to see You next year :)

    Very nice, clean apartment - two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and livingroom. Located in a quiet area of Vela Luka. About 15 minute walk from the Vela Luka centre. Owners are very kind and helpful. A huge advantage is a swimming pool. The nearest beach (small and not interesting) is located next to Posejdon hotel in a distance of 6 minute walk.
