The apartment is excellent! Fully equipped and new. The hosts are very kind people, hospitable, and available for any question or assistance. The beach is a 5-minute walk from the apartment; there isn't much shade on it and it's ideal for people who love sunbathing. There's a small shop near the apartment, and at the beach, there's a beach bar with excellent iced coffee. A great place to come and relax! On departure, we received a small gift from the hosts. Thank you very much for the lovely experience and hospitality!

The apartments are right next to the sea, on the less windire side of the island. We have asked to get apartment on the groundfloor, and it was absolutely taken into consideration. Our host was polite and helpful - just as last year. It was a great trip again.

Cute tiny studio with the amenities you would need. The host was very nice. The private patio outside the apartment was great. Parking spot super convenient. Multiple beaches within walking distance and super markets about 4km away. Very quiet neighborhood and very peaceful. Sunset spot just 2 min driving. I would definitely come back :)

We had a fantastic experience at Apartmani Melani, the ground floor apartment. The property is spotless and nicely furnished with very lovely design, fully equipped with everything you need and it's close to the beach, restaurants, and a bakery. We felt quite at home. Jasna, the host is a really nice and welcoming woman. Meeting her was a real pleasure, and I will most certainly recommend Apartmani Melani.

The staff was welcoming, kind and helpful. Our son is a picky eater, and they did everythig to solve this problem although we didn't even ask. So we are very grateful for the delicious meals they prepared. The family room was perfect for three of us. It was clean and comfortable with two separate bedrooms. The accomodation is located on a quiet street not too far (~10-15 minutes walk) from the centre and 2 beaches.

    Vir is quite tourist-centric, which has its advantages and,...

    Vir is quite tourist-centric, which has its advantages and, unfortunately, its disadvantages. The island itself is beautiful, I like the hustle and bustle (although we were in Lozice, a little further north, in a quieter part) and there are quite a few restaurants to choose from. However, the shops in the area are like the domestic (Hungarian) department stores at Christmas, no matter what time of year we went shopping: full, the lines barricaded, a minimum of 10-15 minutes waiting at the cashiers. The beaches are nice, the ones we went to were clean, although unfortunately I saw quite a few people littering... There is also the possibility of a short excursion around the red rocks on the far side of the island, the view from there is amazing. The locals were nice, but the car traffic is quite chaotic - narrow streets, everyone is in a hurry, not many people know the stop sign, etc.

    Vir is a village-style resort with limited infrastructure. While there are several restaurants and cafés, the food offerings are quite repetitive—mostly chips, grilled meats, and common fish dishes, with little authentic Croatian cuisine. Most beaches are rocky, with Lanterna Beach being the only one with pleasant sandy areas in the sea. Some water activities like jet skiing and SUP are available, but rental prices are high.

    Vir in Croatia is now experiencing a huge increase in tourists thanks to new better roads and exciting experiences for visitors. It is important that everyone treats nature and the local people well so that the beautiful island can be enjoyed by future generations too.

    In the center of Vir is absolutely neccessary to develop...

    In the center of Vir is absolutely neccessary to develop PEDESTRIAN ZONE and pavements. Restauranst are OK, however many of them prefer group of 4 and more people and couples have to wait to be seated. There are many supermarkets and bakeries. Do not expect any historical or cultural experience, Vir is more for beaches and sailing.

    Really like this location.

    Really like this location. Although it's an island, it's accessible by car via bridge, which makes car trips around fast and simple (e.g. Nin, Zaton, Zadar). There are lot of good restaurants around, nice, clean beaches, local shops.

    Perfect place for family with kids - different beaches even...

    Perfect place for family with kids - different beaches even with sand and shallow water, a few playgrounds, everything is very close. We enjoyed beach sapavac with shallow water and healing mud the most, but we visited 10 beaches and we loved them all. On the other hand - we were there in october and there was not many people on beaches and everywhere which we loved, I am not sure how we would feel in summer when beaches are full of people. Also a lot of fast foods, shops and bars were closed because the season was over so it was like peacefull village :) It must look very different in summer.

    The location of the accommodation is very good, relatively close to the coast, the beach and shops. The terrace is the perfect size for 5 people. There is a TV and cable service in the living room, although we did not use it. Internet access is secured. The equipment was just right. We had a good time, if we decide on the island of Vir in the future, we will choose this accommodation again, if the price-value ratio will be suitable in the future.

    Owners are living downstairs, they were very nice and helpful. We asked some directions, places to go and they happily helped. We also got some grapes and fresh delicious figs from them. The apartman is in a middle of Vir, short walk to get to the main road. Biggest beach is like 8 mins walk.
