We loved Tokaj! It is a charming little town.
We loved Tokaj! It is a charming little town. We were grateful to find the information centre as we didn't know the area. We thoroughly enjoyed tasting the delightful wines. The whole region is very picturesque, with rolling hills and vineyards. We went for a short drive to Tarsal to see the statue of he Blessing of Christ. A little further on we saw the quaint St Therese on top of another hill. We had dinner both nights at our hotel where the food was fabulous! I particularly loved the famous local wine Tokaj Aszu! It was great to get out into the countryside away from the big city and taste the local wines and local produce. A highlight of our trip.Guest review byJenniAustralia - 10.0

A charming town to relax, enjoy the wines and local cuisine. An excellent starting point for hiking and biking tours. Within an hour's drive there are also many other attractions worth visiting: castles, thermal baths, amusement parks, etc.Guest review byMariuszPoland
