Hotel very calm, and very friendly ! We felt like at home. A wonderful team managed by à very kind woman, Who tries always to do her best to satisfy customers. Breakfast is gorgeous, homemade : omelette, green pancakes filled with coconut, fresh fruits... etc She put us in touch with local drivers to visit very beautiful places all aroud Bajawa. I recommend !

Very clean, very comfortable, overall excellent. Wifi worked very well. Very spacious communal area and shared bathroom with toilet, which were a plus plus point. Had wonderful welcome chat with Yohanes. He has a divine breadth in everything about Bajawa secret and culture. The two young lady crews managing day to day operation here had very warm smiles, though they were not conversant in English. I had no problem in bahasa communication with them and it was always delightful being greeted by warm-hearted people.

Everything. Arnold went out of his way to make sure my trip was perfect. He is also a fantastic guide, extremely knowledgeable of the surrounding area. He planned my trip to perfection, at very honest and reasonable prices. I only wish I spent more time in the area since there is so much to see. Between native villages, volcanoes and idyllic hot springs, I felt I was in a national geogeaphic documentary. Arnold's guesthouse is very comfortable, extremely clean and the breakfast cooked by his wife Maria is simply the best. Those pancakes will leave you wanting more. Thank you so much again Arnold for planning the perfect trip and sharing your knowledge and culture with me. I will be back soon to go to 17 islands! 🙏

Clean room with a private bathroom - even with hot shower, which is very nice as it gets quite cold in Bajawa in the evenings. Good location (only 2 minutes walking to the center). Good value for money. Friendly people.

Comfortable bed and clean rooms. Location is great with an amazing view on mount Inerie. Staff were all very friendly. Food in the restaurant (only restaurant in the vicinity) was good. There’s live music in the evening which we enjoyed a lot. Special thanks to Jimmy who helped us organize our transport to Riung and brought us to the Mount Inerie hike starting point at night (not far away from Manulalu). He’s also a good singer :) Also Bena village and hot springs are not too far away so it’s a good starting point to visit a few things.

We really liked our stay at Kristian Homestay in Bajawa. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. We enjoyed the little terrace in front of our room with a beautiful view on the mountains. If we had more time, we would have stayed longer. Definitely recommend!

Rooms are relatively standard, medium-sized with comfortable, larger beds, small, ensuite bathroom, large windows, and with small desks and limited storage space. The electrical and wifi are good. Basic breakfast is included. The big plus at this place is the building itself, with huge, showy terraces loaded with character furniture and with fantastic views at the back, probably one of the best places to hang out in town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is set outside of town, on the main island highway, and next to the road that runs south to the traditional villages. So the location could be an advantage, depending on your plans. Scooter rental is available here.
