The guesthouse is amazing, completely immersed in nature and just a short walk from Koanara Village. The owner, Sipriano, is a truly kind and helpful person. He knows everything about the area and gives great advice on how to visit Kelimutu and the surroundings. The breakfast is also excellent, with lots of delicious fresh fruit and a tasty banana pancake. Highly recommended!

The staff are super friendly and helpful.breakfadt is so tasty, love ginger tea, free refill water, location is great, right beside the main road. They arrange the tour to Kelimutu lakes at a reasonable price, also the owner gave me a ride from Moni to Ende for a good price. Thank you

The owner, Lopez, was an incredible host and and extremely welcoming. The rooms were beautifully crafted and comfortable. We had a delicious, homemade meal and ate with Lopez and his friends. We would definitely return to Gecko’s Homestay, especially for those banana pancakes!

This brand new place is held by a wonderfull indonesian couple. Very welcoming and helpfull. A few little suggestions to improve customiser experience (like: add a few hangers) but no real big deal. Additionnally Nas' wife is a really good cooker and it is one of the best places where I've had diner on Indonesia. She should propose host table. Very clean. Good bed.

Sweet family with a lot of warmth and hospitality. The room was very clean, the terrace with a beautiful view and the breakfast was delicious. Furthermore, the family invited me to dinner at their place. Thank you very much for that, it felt like home. Next door is directly a good restaurant. A driver to the volcano and further transport to another place can be organized without problems. Makasie.

Hans, Emelda & family really made us feel like we were at home - from inviting us to their Son’s celebration one evening, tending to our injuries after we took a fall, arranging buses for us, and organising for their Nephew Anton to show us around his village. We fully recommend if you want a homestay that make you feel like part of their family!
