Arriving by boat and how secluded the place is makes us feel as though we are on a private island. The beach houses and restaurant were so well hidden amongst the greenery that we only noticed it when we were near the hotel itself. We were indulged by the excellent quality of food. Look at the amount of grilled lobster that we ate for dinner! For breakfast, the baked goods were served warm, straight from the oven. Just a short stay here left us feeling re-charged, ready to face the world again.

We had a great stay in Melody. The rooms were basic but it was only opened recently so rooms and bed were new and comfortable. No need for air conditioning as it was cool enough at night. Perfect located between Inside and Outside breaks although you will need a scooter to get around which they organized for us but that is the same with most of Ekas. Jaja was an excellent host and Ranga was a great energy around the place. Any of our requests were met and always with a smile. Stayed for 2 nights and looked to extend but they were booked up. Still returned to see them at Melody even after we had checked out to play some chess, surf and chat. Even brought me to meet some locals and drink some rice wine. Would definitely return again and it is great to see some locals putting their own stamp on the area.

Nan, his family and staff were amazing! Super friendly and welcoming. Nan was very helpfull and gave us all the information about the surf spots and could organise a boat for us when we needed. The Homestay is nicely organised with a sea view deck where you can always find an area with shade. Nice garden also with various fruits to eat! Close to the beaches around to go surf or swim. Also board rental available on site. Room was basic but big and comfortable - everything you need and a comfy bed! Restaurant on site was very good and cheap. Ended up eating breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to come back again!!

The hosts Max and Noi are really going out of their way to make guests comfortable. They create an amazing experience! Delicious breakfast, wonderful life music, yoga mats, sports equipment, games, a ride into town, smiles and great conversations. We had to change the dates of our stay and that was no problem at all. Max explained on the phone that we were much better of waiting one week to wait for better weather so our children would enjoy themselves better. Best hosts I’ve ever met. Always smiling. The room itself is comfortable, spacious, beautiful with a very comfortable bed. Comfortable size for our family of four, private patio and balcony upstairs. Shaded area with beanbags. The space is very comfortable!

Amazing stay at ekas Beach Guesthouse! Highly recommend it for a relaxed and enjoyable stay in Ekas. The owner is super kind & funny and is happy to help you out with anything. Great for surfing as well. I always got a boatride to ekas outside or inside no matter the time of the day. The location is really special and the Restaurant at the beach is one of a kind. Very basic, but beautiful with one of the best sunset spots on the hole Island of Lombok. Highly recommend this Guesthouse for those wanting a autenthic experience with a local family! Thank you Rumaji !

I spent a very nice week here. The view is spectacular both from the villas and from the pool. They have only 4 bungalows, so the whole place is usually very quiet and calm. The manager, the owner and all the staff are very nice, you can truly feel at home here. They help you with everything, from having surf lessons till getting and cooking fresh lobster for you. Absolutely recommend it!

From the moment we arrived owner and staff made us feel so welcome. Nothing was a hassle. The food very good and healthy choices. Free breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend, definitely coming back.

Loved the boat trip around Eka bay.

Loved the boat trip around Eka bay. Stunning views of the shoreline from the national park across the bay from the resort. After that they brought me to their lobster farm so where I could select my own lobster to be grilled on the beach that same evening.

We loved staying at ekas this place is perfect the beds are...

We loved staying at ekas this place is perfect the beds are so comfortable the beer is cold the food is amazing the staff are all friendly and want you to have the best stay you can they will accommodate you for the right waves to suit your level and there’s waves for all levels and a must do if there’s no waves do the snorkeling tour not many places left where the coral reefs are still alive full of of colour and fish enjoy highly recommend
