Karimunjawa!!
Karimunjawa!! Very few have heard of these small islands off the North coast of Java, an archipelago of 27 islands, most of them in a marine reserve. The main island is reached in 2 hours by a speed boat, from the quaint port of Jepara. Stunning is not describing the islands, jaw droppingly perfect scenery, white beaches, emerald turquoise waters, picture perfect handcrafted wooden jetties, snorkel waters so clear to see the stunning corals, multicoloured fish, a truly magical experience. The Mangrove Park, a 2km trekking is in a remarkable setting, stop for grilled fish, under the call of prayer, and run for cover from the thunderstorms. A scooter gives you the opportunity to visit this verdant island of lush vistas and mountains, small business like cashew roasters, or side road café, perfect examples of why you should sometimes leave the crowds behind, and go off on an adventure beyond the bounds of crowded beaches. It should not be a surprise that Indonesia holds some secrets in its islands, after all there are over 17,000 of them! Room was spacious and clean. Internet was great. Peaceful with paddy fields view and fish pond. Kitchenette was great help for our family meal with stove, microwave, water dispenser and fridge. Local supermarket named ‘Saudara’ could find groceries. Laundry can be arranged with the hotel and it’s cheap. Very friendly and helpful staffs like Bonet and Pak Botak always with their smiling faces. Swimming pool is a great pass time for traveler with children. Room come with tooth brush & toothpaste, miniature bottle shampoo & shower gel. NO toilet paper😅😅 room not clean up every. Our stay was 5 days & room make up only once. I would suggest the hotel to make up room every two days, to include toilet paper and hair dryer. Only 1 hair dryer so we have to share with other guests 😅😅😅 Hotel don’t have restaurant/cafe but Grab food was a great solution! The room was remarkably spacious, spotless and well equipped! They even have hairdrier in the room! Its located in the center of the city, very easy to get around. We also went sight seeing aroung the neighborhood and found so many nice eatery places around. The hotel has breakfast package included, which was very nice as we need to catch the morning verry.
