Basically Padang is for people who probably finds food...
Basically Padang is for people who probably finds food hunting their choice of travel. For me, going to Padang was a gateway to Kerinci, for the mountain hike. Padang in itself did not have much sightseeing places to offer but perhaps we did not take the island tours or any waterfall visits. A big city with little to no immediate tourist interest but serves as a good place to start and end travels. There is good food options but a little difficult for anyone not familar with Padang to access the information. The city have a beautiful but undeveloped waterfront. On each occasion we were extremely happy that we chose this place to stay. The staff are very friendly, especially Herwin. They go out of their way to make you happy and comfortable. The brand new ocean view room is gorgeous with the best view I’ve had from a shower! The rooms are clean and they add extra touches such as a scented diffuser.
