They are very kind and helpful and have a lot of insights regarding the region. Once you are there you become part of the family and you will not want to leave :) The breakfast is delicious and the house itself is very charming. It is located near a rice field, close to the city center (walking distance) but quiet. So far the best homestay I have been. Everything that we read in previous reviews was true. Ibra is very helpful in organising tours around Toraja. The room and the bathroom are clean, the beds really comfortable. Mama Valen and her family are very welcoming and friendly and helped us find a good guide and motorbike/scooter for our stay in Tana Toraja.
