Seminyak has such a great balance compared to Kuta — it’s not as hectic, and there’s much less pressure from people trying to sell you things. The beach is beautiful and perfect for sunset walks, and the vibe overall feels more relaxed. I loved how you can find cheap local warungs serving delicious food right alongside more fancy restaurants and bars — so there’s something for every mood and budget. It’s also easy to get around, with plenty of shops, spas, and cafés tucked into quiet little streets. Seminyak is a lively place but not as crazy as Kuta or Legian. Good places to eat, have a massage, relax on the beach, go to hair salons (if that is your thing) and shop at upmarket shops or down at the flea market where there was also cooking classes going on. Can't beat a few days in Seminyak. Never stay for too long before heading some place else but always good for a few days, normally last few before we head home.Guest review byadrianAustralia - 4.0

Bali has changed for the worse since we where there last (before Covid). It is no longer the "awesome value" holiday destination. Most (probably all) the accommodation and eateries are owned by ex-pat Aussies and, as a consequence, the prices you pay for eating out and accommodation are "Melbourne" prices - eg. Spice Mantra entrees are around AU$16 plus about 20% in additional taxes. Maybe the business owners are trying to make up for what they lost during Covid??? The duplex villa was beautiful, clean and with great amenities. The Annora team was friendly, warm and made us feel so welcome. Each member of the team whether at reception, restaurant, spa or around the hotel were great. Annora Villas is well placed with easy access to the beach and some good spots for sunset drinks and dinner. A short walk or taxi ride into town gets you onto the main strip.
