We were so lucky to get an upgrade to Avery beautiful room. Very striking historic hotel. Breakfast was excellent. The personell was helpful and very attentive. Playing the piano in the restaurant was great.

The breakfast was amazing, huge variety to choose from, every staff member made you feel comfortable and made sure you are well taken care of and served upon. We arrived as scheduled from Malang to Gubaeng Train Station then to Four Points. Checking in was easy and fast. The hotel located jointed to Surabaya biggest Shopping Mall. The room was excellently comfortable and spacious. The breakfast restaurant located at level M3, easily accessible and the food was fantastic. We met with Chef Hidayat, he was very professional and polite. Serving us and checking on us to ensure we had a great time even during breakfast. We also get a glimpse and the hospitality serve by restaurant Captain, Ms Diah. She was very nice and making sure all our needs are attended to and making sure that we're comfortable with the food, setting and ambiance. Great job to the hotel restaurant staffs.

Excellent hotel, extremely well maintained and with all imaginable services (outdoor pool, gym, restaurant, rooftop terrace, spa center, laundry service...). The staff we have met is really nice and have helped us in every way they could (and always with a smile!). We found the restaurant very good and with a lot of variety, and it is also open late, which is always useful. The breakfast buffet is frankly spectacular and very varied. We can say little about the location because we have not walked through the area.

    My last visit to Surabaya was about 10 years ago. The city had transformed to be nicer and cleaner. Shopping malls were excellent now, cleaner. Keep it up. Surprisingly bluebird taxis were still available, but driver's honesty was questionable at times (meter rates).

    Surabaya is a good stepping stone for other places. We didn’t really tour the city, mainly because we had other plans around it. The air quality was a bit disturbing. There were a lot of accomodation options, which was good. Would recommend it if you want to see ruins nearby or fly to Pangkalan Bun (Kalimantan).

    Well Surabaya has been improving a lot now, for example it widened the main road like jl Ahmad Yani and others. clean gardens, and traffic was not so bad actually. it is easy to get around. our fav resto is Beatus alfresco Grill N Dining for sure. it was a very short trip 2 nights but fulfilled the purpose of the trip.

    1. Plaza Surabaya Mall, Tunjungan Mall, Gubeng train Station. 2. Many types of food. 3. Most of the time we move around with Grab. 4. Walking on streets if possible as too many traffic and less pavement to walk on safely.

    Movenpick hotel is very clean, nice big rooms with wonderful, amazing & friendly staff Elsa, Shanaz, Mali, Tyas. Elsa the boss of housekeeping team made my room every day, clean, nice smell. Every night when I come to my room made me very happy, clean & nice smell. Good girl Elsa. Shanaz, Mali & Tyas were my guides. Everyday they arrange my trip & I really enjoyed. God bless there hearts. Mali, Tyas & Shanaz were helping me to order Grab& Places to visit. The best customer service, friendly with lots of smile. Very respectful staff & wonderful service.
