It was a beautiful spot to break your routine life. Not a lot of people. It had a clean and amazing sights. Friendly staffs and very accommodative. Check in was smooth, you can ask for any request and staffs help to fulfill it. We had a city tour organized by the resort. It was good. This was a best vacation with my family. We had party for new year celebration with barbeque dinner. It has singing , dancing and karaoke 🎤 . We enjoyed the night 🌃 Wonderful experience!

The buffet breakfasts were amazing. Lovely complimentary touches, such as free tasty treats given out in the evenings. Great range of activities provided. Nice local ethnic related experiences such as sambal-making demonstrations. Nice kids play area. Three great restaurant options on-site, at quite reasonable prices for such a classy resort.

TP is not really a tourist place.

TP is not really a tourist place. The infrastructure is not really developed and the rubbish and water pollution is not under control. Its certainly interresting to see a third world country , but without any help of local people a foreingner is lost.

Not much of tourism destination.

Not much of tourism destination. But food is excellent and cheap. A great choice of seafood lover. Lack of convenience public transport for tourist. Local people are tremendously nice . Spent your time to visit Penyengat island which is nearby for a culture and heritage experience !

1. The language spoken is very much similar to the Johorean, 2. Quite a number of variety of foods available, especially the one that closed to Malaysian Foods. 3. Transit city to further explore the rest of Kepulauan Riau such as Natuna, Lingga and of course Penyengat Islands.

Reception and housekeeping staff were friendly. Room was large and clean enough. Aircon and TV was working good. Plenty local and international channels. Internet was fast and available all the time I was in the room. I can pay with credit card. Near the ferry terminal, old town and seaside boulevard. Almost half the price of another hotel nearby.

Room was basic and sufficient for the stay. Overall, worth it for the price. We checked in late so we didn't get a room with fireworks view. Bathroom drainage is an issue but the hotel is not new. Breakfast can be delivered to room, which is a plus, but on some days it was slow.
