It was one of the best breakfast we've had, a lot of options on local food and the Christmas cookies was the best! Hotel staffs from check in, room boy, restaurant were helpful and always smile. Room, bathroom and toilet are clean. Water runs fine for wash dishes and shower. Free drink water is so good. Plenty of parking spots and hotel is accessible from the city central.

It was an amazing stop after long journey from Wakai. Hot shower, super clean room, great location with the view for the volcano, friendly and really helpful staff.

It’s been a blessing. The staff is really kind and helpful, it instantly feels like home. They give you great recommendations to visit in Tomohon and take care of your every need. Also, the location of this stay is stunning (the view is amazing), the garden is beautiful and the houses are very comfortable, cozy and clean. The food is great as well. Just a perfect accommodation to rest and explore.

We had a great 2 nights stay at Rimba Eco Resort exploring the surrounding Tomohon area and the volcanic sights! The owners Arno & Angie have done a great job with the place and it's very "homey" and welcoming with friendly staff and cute cats & dogs. We had a fun night out at a local bar with Arno and some other guests and we also spent a day out exploring the sights of which Arno gave us some great recommendations!

Riko, the owner of this great homestay, is the perfect host. He went out of his way to ensure we had the perfect stay - the place is spotlessly clean and the food is delicious and includes produce from his own garden . We also went on a day tour that Riko conducted in the surrounding Minahasa Highlands which was well worth it. The bedrooms and shared bathroom are basic but have everything one needs. The views from the balcony are stunning. Peaceful and great value for money. Highly recommended!

Good for family or group of friends. Surrounded by beautiful nature with stunning view of mount Lokon. Unfortunately they don't come to clean the rubbish bin every day and we have to refill the water ourselves. Facilities are good enough, only there is no cupboard to store the clothes.

    Major is a great host! He took us to the market for breakfast (very yummy and super cheap), gave us many restaurant, Cafe and sightseeing tips and was always super helpful! The room itself was simple and clean. All in all the room was fine for two nights, comfy bed, no noises, no bad smell in the room nor the hotel. Nice to know: the market is right next to the hotel, the extrem part is a little hidden though, so don't worry if you don't want to see it, you can just not go there.

    Staff were great. The individual bungalows spaced down the valley was very private and great. The main shared space was large and well set out. Food was good. Owners offer a great day tour and are very helpful in organising transport. Angie, the owner, went over and above to make our stay in Tomohon amazing with a variety of things to see over a large geographical area. The view from the bungalows over the volcano was beautiful.

    We stayed at Gardenia Country Inn for 3 nights/ 2 full days and enjoyed our stay very much! The view of volcano Lokon, the beautifully maintained gardens and the food were really great! The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful - especially the manager Leslie went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice stay. We would definitely recommend coming here when visiting Tomohon!

    A great spot to explore Tomohon’s volcanos, markets and vibrant cafes. The Great Trek guided walk was a real highlight, highly recommend if you enjoy hiking and want to learn more about the local culture.
