La Payana House offers a good location, with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and activities like snorkeling. Yusa, a staff member, truly exceeded expectations by arriving early at 6 AM to prepare breakfast before my snorkeling trip. He also offered to drive me to the diving center and harbor when I left. His kindness truly made me feel welcome, comfortable, and safe throughout my visit.

Everything about our stay was amazing! The facilities were beautiful and clean, lovely place to relax and enjoy nature. The host Roman and his staff were exceptional. They made sure we had everything looked after including scooter rental and even helped us bring it back to the port on our checkout day. The breakfast was great and they let you choose from a few options. A true gem!

The staff is very friendly. The breakfast offered mutiple choices. Guests needed to pre-book their preferred type and time for breakfast, and the next day the staff would deliver it to their rooms. The taste was quite good. As for the location, it's just a few minutes away by motorbike to a street with restaurants. That street also has many diving centers.

    Cheap massages, lots of food markets.

    Cheap massages, lots of food markets. Was pretty dirty and busy. Great reef trips and amazing scenery on the east side of the island. Walk to Penida colada for a special meal on the water - sunset with dolphins 💕

    It really is only for arriving by boat so not a good area to...

    It really is only for arriving by boat so not a good area to stay near boat arrivals. You can’t walk past the wharf area easily as they have piled tons of gravel there and it is fenced off. There was one good restaurant a 5-10 minute walk away called Sunny Cafe.
