The owner is such a heartwarming person! She helps you planning your day, cares about you when you don't feel good and even cares about your laundry if you need laundry service. Unfortunately I couldn't stay longer. I felt so comfortable in my room, it was clean and very new with a beautiful vintage flair. It was my favorite accomodation during my time on Bali.

I can only recommend this hotel. The rooms were wonderful, the pool was our favorite, great and delicious food and the service of the staff was on a top-notch level. If you are staying in Uluwatu, this is the place to be.

I stayed at Ikigai Uluwatu in November, I give this hotel a 10/10. The location, hotel design, food, calm ambiance and especially the staff made my stay here as a solo traveler super special. I originally booked the hotel 5 nights and ended up extending 6 extra nights as I did not want to leave. You will have everything you need; delicious food available all day (the breakfast has nothing to envy all of the specialty coffees around town!) and the pool is clean and quiet. The service is extremely attentive and you will be walking distance from the best sunsets, shops, restaurants and places for a night out in Uluwatu while feeling at home. Thanks again Audrey and all her amazing team for having me. Hope to be back soon!

Terra Cottages is an incredibly beautiful and stylish oasis in the centre of Ulu Uwatu. The rooms are very clean and are cleaned every day on request, there is free drinking water and very nice smelling shower gel. The hotel's own food is incredibly tasty. The path to Bingin Beach, which is very suitable for surfing, is easily accessible via stairs in 5 minutes. Shopping facilities and restaurants are also within easy walking distance. The hotel staff are excellent. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped us organise our trips and transport at all times. The pool is very clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. The rest of the hotel grounds are also very clean and beautifully planted. Terra Cottages is a perfect place to relax and unwind. 10/10 would do again!

Booked the Junior Suite. It was very spacious and very clean. Love the bed, which was super important to me. Love the big tub. Pool was of decent size. Service was good. Breakfast which isn't buffet, still had a pretty extensive menu to choose from. Good location with a lot of food nearby.

What a beautiful resort. Everything here was amazing! If you not can enjoy here, you can not enjoy anywhere. The staff is so sweet, they do everything to make your stay unforgettable! We stay at the “love cabana” , a open house with amazing view. The breakfast was great, the service by the bar also. For sure we want to come back here, its a pearle in Uluwatu.

Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle, and North of the Island. I spent a week in Ubud, then a week on the South coast. I could have spent 2 weeks in Ubud, and based most of my travels from there. Beaches in the South are something else, great surf, etc. Things to note which you may not expect. Traffic is mental. Most roads are bad, poorly surfaced, narrow and congested. Most people get around by scooter, which is fine, but be prepared for the fumes if you're doing more than a pop-to-the-shops on one. And the endless 'sell'. I was taking my own picture at a restaurant and was told I would have to pay for it (Rice Terraces) They aren't all like that, don't get me wrong, but they will push it. Fun can be had with haggling, Rule of thumb, offer half their asking price, then work back from there. Be prepared to be followed down the street if you don't buy it. Food is amazing. Try the local dishes, so much better than the same dishes back home. And why would you fly half way round the world to have fish & chips in a different country? And, getting there. Get your visa before going, they have 40-ish automated passport gates, which you can use if you have a digital passport. Use the Gojek App for taxi, or even food and other things whilst you're there (Like Uber).

You'll need personal transportation, and a scooter is the most convenient. The main roads are always congested, just like on the mainland: traffic jams, and it's hard to breathe. In Ungasan, the roads are clear, making it quiet and comfortable, and the private (paid) southern beaches are nearby. The best beaches! But there are few shops nearby, so you'll have to drive. It's affordable by scooter!

Staff were very friendly and really helped us out. A member of our group left their passport in the Gili Islands, we managed to get the previous hotel to deliver it to us but we weren't at the new hotel when it arrived. The staff here came promptly and kept it safe until we arrived. Staff had great suggestions and really felt like they wanted to get to know you. The rooms were very nice, lovely rainfall shower and the general surroundings very well maintained.

This is a new and clean hotel with comfortable furniture. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We arrived late in the evening, but they welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room. The room was fully prepared, with the air conditioner already on, which was a nice touch after a long journey. They even parked my bike for me, which was very convenient.

Amazing place to stay! Our bamboo room was spacious, cleaned every day and super cute. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us great recommendations for beaches to visit. The hotel is located close enough to shops and restaurants, and at the same time, far from the crowd and noise of the main road. Totally recommend it to everyone!

Very personalised experience. Matt and his team went above and beyond to organise activities and to ensure we were comfortable. The food and coffee at the restaurant was delicious. Very close to the beach. New and clean facilities. The hotel really is a one stop shop but also close to get to many other beautiful areas via scooter.
