Great location for exploring the surrounding area. I had a wedding at Ashford and it was only 15-20 minute drive away. Castlebar is only 30 minutes away also. Plenty of space. Beds really comfy. Really clean. Great facilities for cooking. Back garden with seats and a table. 2 bathrooms with showers and then 1 ensuite room on the ground floor. Pay and display parking but it was really cheap and we managed to park right outside the house everyday.

Brilliant location on the Galway mayo west Ireland. Jennifer is amazing such care to detail checking everything is ok giving advice about where to visit and other things. A lovely lady I cannot recommend her highly enough. Comfy huge bed living room kitchen everything you need wifi smart tv quiet. Nice private place even though it’s attached to the main house you feel like it’s totally separate, also cute place to sit on patio also private with lovely plant pots. We got there on a cold and rainy night where it felt like (...

We got there on a cold and rainy night where it felt like (to us as Americans driving on the opposite side of some narrow lanes) that it took forever. It did not as we discovered the next day, about ten minutes is more accurate. Once we were there, it was pure Nirvana! The house is gorgeous, you have to check out the magical cabinets in the kitchen! We had EVERYTHING we could have needed! While our husbands (brothers) went to play pool in the separate game room, my sister in law and I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Walking the area the next day, my head was simply on a swivel! Seeing the neighbor's thatched roof up close was wow! So beautiful!

I'd only really heard of it as the home town of the wonderful Panti Bliss aka Rory O'Neill. I don't know who should be more proud of whom. (Balinrobe of Rory or vice versa.) Fantastic place and I'll be back to explore more. Devour Bakery does the best breakfast (Eggs Benedict) and the service was exceptional. Staff so kind and professional and customers all seem to know everyone. A Happy place indeed.

We chose the location because of it"s affordability over...

We chose the location because of it"s affordability over places like Westport or Castlebar which are not very far by car, where we visited The Museum of Country Life . We had planned our weekend away taking in the west as the area we wished to visit. We had travelled The Wild Atlantic Way from Galway to Achill deciding to spend a night in Ballinrobe before heading more inland, travelling on to Carrig on Shannon the following day where we then proceeded on to Riscommon Athlone & the Midlands.

We loved our stay in Ballinrobe - it was very close to a huge Tesco, and it was only 30 mins drive to Galway the next day. Very affordable and the house was beautiful. So peaceful and quiet and we all had the best night sleep.

Very central location in the middle of Ballinrobe. There is a public car park across the street. Room was warm and clean, bed was comfortable and the area was quiet. Breakfast selection was good and food was great. Note that on Sundays, breakfast service doesn't start till 11am. It didn't affect our plans, but may affect other guests Had dinner here too and it was excellent

A great location on the outskirts of Ballinrobe, only a 10 min walk to the town centre. Our hosts were fantastic and even gave us a lift in to Ballinrobe racecourse which was very much appreciated. The building itself is lovely and very well maintained. Rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend and will be back in the future.

Amazing tranquil location near the shores of Lough Mask. Carmel was really friendly and helpful. It's only a couple of minutes from Ballinrobe along beautiful country roads.
