Olivia and her husband are super kind and helpful. We had a generous wellcome basket.The house has new furniture, comfy beds, a lot of details, kitchen has all you can need and more, a lot of books and boardgames. We enjoyed a lot the barbecue, and eat outside looking the stunning views.

It is about 8 miles from a town but there are amenities about 1 mile away. There are 3 rooms to relax in with plenty of seating. Particularly liked the rear room which is glass to 2 sides and looks onto a forest. Dining tables in the kitchen and extension room at the back make great alternatives. The owners made sure we were settled and happy and brought freshly made cakes which were delicious 😋

Everything was excellent. We stayed at the Colligan Suite with a view of the river and it was fabulous with plenty of space and nice furniture. The bathroom was also spacious with a modern bath. The double bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Staff was all very friendly and super organized. Just 5 min walk from the village.

Breakfast and dinner options were both fantastic with a wide variety of options available. The quality of food all round was also great both in taste and in presentation overall. The drinks options were very impressive too, with lots of draft beers and ales and plenty of spirits and non alcoholic drinks to chose from, all fairly priced. As for the beds and pillows... OMG the pillows were the most comfy I think I've ever rested my head on, so I had great sleep on both nights I was there.

Truly beautiful property - wish we had booked more days here! Really lovely grounds, beautiful rooms, and the breakfast was excellent, too. Relaxing lounge to hang out in the evenings, too.
