The location was in a peaceful rural setting with restaurants and pubs nearby. The continental breakfast was substantial with fresh fruit salad, fruit, cereals, bread, yoghurt, juice, tea and coffee. Thankyou Mary for such a friendly and welcoming stay. It is a beautiful place and close to Drogheda and surrounding historic sites.

I had a wonderful stay at the village rooms, as a solo female traveller I felt safe and secure in this light-filled accommodation. Beautiful spacious living area and kitchen, amazing water pressure in the shower which was lovely and very cosy bedding! Could not speak more highly of this stay. The location was perfect and the host was very kind.

The traditional house is very well maintained and is run by a very sympathetic older couple. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything you need. Parking is available free of charge in front of the accommodation. Breakfast is served traditional Irish if you like. There is also a vegetarian option. Fruit, yoghurt, muesli etc. are also available. The nearest supermarket is a few minutes' walk away or you can take the car. We have absolutely nothing to complain about, would book here again and would like to thank the hosts and their team.

Having visited blackrock for many years as I child, I have seen a great deal of change. It is still a great place to visit, lots of good places to eat. It is very clean and the beach is great when the tide is out.
