We went for a night away to catch up with a friend, had a delicious meal and drinks and danced till closing time. Felt so safe and the whole town had great vibes. We got up early the next morning for a sauna down by the marina. Could not recommend this any more....just melted all my hangover and troubles away. Fabulous historic town, well loved and maintained by those who are fortunate to live there. Loved the food at McKevitt's hotel. Local pubs were good fun and staff very helpful. We rented a couple bikes and cycled the green way that takes you to Newry. So much to do if you enjoy active holidays but also a lovely spot to chill out in just the same. Great buzz for party atmosphere and also suitable for nice meals and a few drinks if that's what you prefer. The locals were so friendly and really made our stay enjoyable.
