Durrus is a central location for days of car touring from Ballydehob, Schull, Goleen, Crookhaven, BarleyCove & The Mizen. Or exploring out to Sheep's Head Lighthouse and walking the many walking routes on the peninsulas. Only a few minutes drive to town of Bantry and its restaurants many tourist attractions. And Durrus is only half an hour's drive from Glengarriff via Bantry and Ballylickey along the exquisite sheltered coastal road west. Durrus is very small. Have to recommend Anna Langrish's Gallery and Cafe in nearby Ahakista. Lovely coffee and cakes in Goleen. Didn't have time to eat as we did so much sightseeing.Guest review byJaneIreland
